We had a wonderful two day stay at Le Champlain. The rooms are decorated in an eclectic yet tasteful fashion; a departure from the standard chain hotel decor. The rooms and bathroom were very clean and the linens were crisp. They were renovating their breakfast room so we had to take a short walk to another hotel for the complimentary... more

We had a great stay during March Break. Le Champlain Hotel was a welcome refuge from the rainy/icy weather. Our room was warm and inviting and the breakfast room was bright and sunny. All of the staff was friendly and helpful. The private, off-street parking was a plus! more

One of the best hotel stays ever. The huge suite was beautiful with great view, very quiet, air conditioned, very clean and modern decor. The service was really impressive. We had breakfasts near the lobby and it is really not a continental breakfast, excellent many choices with an expresso machine I would like to have home(free 24/24). In a great... more

A great deal, service and friendliness are excellent. Close to everything, really. Groceries, coffee, restaurants, attractions, all within minutes of walking. They also have their own parking ( you've to book it tough). Ask the front desk for a recommendation, all the staff is so friendly and helpful. more

We rented a junior suite for one adult, one teenager, and a 5 year old and a standard room for one adult. Both rooms were very well appointed and both were nicer than the photos. The junior suite was very large with fireplace but the bathroom was smaller than expected and smaller than the one in the standard room. The... more

This review is a bit late, my husband and I stayed here for a week in November, it was snowy, cold, and rainy. But we had a wonderful time. Old town is beautiful--like a small french town--and close to everything, you can walk all over this town, then come back to complementary hot chocolate, espresso, etc. It has a nice... more

We loved this hotel. The staff were friendly and eager to accommodate. The rooms are clean, but nothing fancy. This is a lovely small, comfortable hotel minutes from Frontenac, shopping and restaurants. A ski shuttle is also available to the nearby ski areas. The staff will be happy to help arrange transportation. more

My boyfriend and I stayed in a Junior Suite from May 15-20th. The room was very spacious and cozy, yet modern. Large TV and DVD player (can rent movies from lobby). Breakfast in the mornings had a great variety. The hotel service was great, location was perfect. Just a few minutes walk from the Chateau and main shopping areas. Fireplace... more

Located inside the walls of the Old city it is walking distance from restaurants, shopping and all major attractions. The beds here are comfortable with duvets, the room was very clean, good breakfast, the receptionists were especially kind and helpful to all our needs. more
