Hotel Champlain was a great location for our four nights in Old Quebec City. We had a Jr. Suite which had a king size bed, a sitting area with sofa and coffee table, a writing desk, TV, free WiFi and an electric fireplace. Very comfortable. The bathroom was not huge and like so many hotels, the bathroom lighting could use... More

I have stayed at this hotel many times . The location is great for those who want to walk around the old city. Staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms well appointed and clean. Breakfast is included and the variety of food is sufficient to start the day. Parking in the old city is limited, so it is nice to... More

A fine mid-priced hotel that offers limited underground parking, a perfect location, excellent complimentary breakfast (and great all-day espresso) and large, nicely decorated rooms. OK - so the hallways are a little dingy. So what. The breakfast area is cozy and bright and there's a little reading area with sofas and a computer. Location is a perfect - within the... More

Extremely well located in the heart of historic Old Quebec, the Hotel Champlain is average. The staff is helpful, but the facility is in need of some renovation. Carpets are a little threadbare and the superior room that we had was standard at best. The free Wi-Fi promised throughout the hotel did not consistently materialize in our room and when... More

We stayed 2 nights at Le Champlain Hotel. The location was ideal, the staff was efficient and helpful, the room was comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. We were also pleasantly surprised that your entire staff was bi-lingual and very patient with my poor attempts to communicate in French.

I stayed 5 nights in July for a business trip. The hotel is located just 5 minutes away from the conference centre and other attractions including restaurants and historical districts. The room was clean, comfortable and big enough for 5 nights stay. The 24-hour available coffee machine in the lobby is a good service. The breakfast place is small and... More

We stayed one night here and were very satisfied. The best thing about this hotel is its location, everything that there is to see in the historical/touristic district is at a walking distance. They do not offer free parking but it is possible to park at a nearby interior public parking lot for about $20 overnight. The room itself was... More

We spent 2 nights in late August, 2014. It was in a great location for exploring old Quebec. Staff was helpful and patient with our limited french language skills. The room was charming. One wall was covered in brick and a thick area rug made it seem very cozy. Bathroom had modern amenities. Continental breakfast offered crepes or bread pudding... More

We stayed four nights in mid-August. This hotel is very well located just a few blocks away from the Chateau Frontenac and other attractions and restaurants. The room was reasonably clean and comfortable, although very dark. The view was the wall of the next building. My brother and his wife stayed in another room and they complained of a dank... More

Boutique hotel, within walking distance of everything in Old Town, best continental breakfast ever, staff most helpful, our room was small, but adequate, bath small, very modern sink. First time in Quebec, would definitely stay there again.
