Went with girls ages 9 & 13 and couldn't have been more pleased. Clean, comfortable, tastefully appointed, pretty 10 minute walk to Old City & 5 minutes to restaurants and other attractions. Proprietor Jean Pierre is as gracious, kind, welcoming and helpful as can be. He's up to date on all current activities so he can help plan your visit,... more

We stayed here for a weekend, and had a very good time. The hosts are very friendly and helpful, the breakfasts are excellent, and our room was clean, large and comfortable. A brief walk from the city gates and the Parc des Champs de Bataille. We were very satisfied with the experience and would definitely return and recommend this b&b. more

Jean-Pierre is, indeed, a wonderful host. Booking with him over the phone was very easy and he was extremely welcoming when we arrived. He was also quite helpful with information about Quebec City. He serves a fantastic breakfast in a charming room in the lower level of his home. Everyone in my family enjoyed the cafe-like setting and the delicious... more

My wife and I just returned from 3 wonderful nights at Manoir Mon Calme. The old Victorian greystone's location was perfect. Close to fabulous bistros, restaurants, and the old City is a short 10 minute walk. Our host Jean-Pierre was most gracious and helpful. Our room was spacious and clean, as was the rest of the house. The breakfasts start... more

Host, Jean-Pierre, made our stay extremely enjoyable and comfortable. He is a wealth of information and was always available to provide advice. The location is great, the breakfast wonderful and the rooms big and clean. Highly recommended. more

Just returned from a 3 night getaway to the Mon Calme with my wife and inlaws, and we can't stop raving about it. The rooms were spacious and tastefully decorated, the breakfasts were exquisitely prepared, the location couldn't have been better. We parked our car (free parking!) for the duration of our stay and enjoyed the short walks to the... more

Jean Pierre the owner was very welcoming and was great with my 1 yr old daughter and even found an antique highchair for her to use at breakfast. Rooms were nice and big, bathroom was a little dated, but clean and everything provided. Jean Pierre provided a map when we got there and offered advice and places to go, and... more

I just got back from a weekend trip to Quebec City with my boyfriend and his friend. We all LOVED Manoir Mon Calme! First of all, Jean Pierre and his family were so warm and welcome. We were given a great recommendation for dinner at Graffiti on our first night (which we loved!) and Jean Pierre was always there if... more

The location could not have been better! There are plenty of restaurants nearby, and the Plains of Abraham is just a few minutes walk away. The walls of Old Quebec is also within walking distance. I actually expected the walk to be longer. The B&B itself is just beautiful! Lots of character! Our room with the ensuite bathroom could have... more

The place was classic Quebec, very close to Old Quebec, and just as beautiful as it could be! We love Jean-Pierre and his helpful ways, but his breakfasts were out of this world. We look forward to coming back to this establishment soon. Happy Austin Couple more
