My only hesitation in writing this review is purely selfish, because I would hate to be unable to book a room here due to too many loving it. It was a perfect stay in Quebec, due in large part to the hospitality of the staff and the comfort and charm of the room. We ate both at the outdoor cafe... More

What can I say about this place? The service is excellent, the room I stayed in (Room 2, which is a Junior Suite) had a gorgeous view and was wonderfully prepared for my arrival and the food (at Le Pain Beni, see my review about the place for more in dept details) was simply delicious. If you book a stay... More

My wife and I and 2 other couples stayed at this lovely Hotel recently during our trip to Canada. We stayed for 3 nights. The location is perfect - right across the plaza from the Chateau Frontenac so easy to find. It is right on Rue St. Anne where there are many shops and restaurants you can walk easily too.... More

So, I'll say it up front: Vieux Quebec (Old Quebec City) is a maze of twisty, windy streets -- on top of that, most are one-way and going in the opposite direction of where YOU want to go. Add in that the part of St. Anne Street where Auberge Place D'Armes is located isn't really a street but a cobbled... More

Bonjour Eastern_Wine_Girl, Thank you for your kind words on TripAdvsior for your previous stay with us. I am pleased to read that you have enjoyed your stay with us. Our location is one of the best as we are in the center of Old Quebec, a stone's throw from the Château Frontenac. The Old Quebec can be tricky with all... More

My family of 5 went there in February right at the end of the winter festival. We loved this little hotel. The building is quite old and they have done an excellent job of keeping the old and still providing comfort. The shower in our room was built into an original stone wall and was very unique. It is in... More

Great place for a romantic getaway! The staff was super friendly and helpful (bicycle reservations are available and valet service for parking), the facilities are great (coffee machine, wifi, a/c and sound proof rooms - we barely head the rain!), the included breakfasts are amazing and the location is simply perfect. You have a quick and easy access to everything... More

My wife and I stayed here 3 nights on the first weekend of Festival Ete Quebec (FEQ..a great time). The building is older and our room reminded us of a room we once had in Paris with tall windows overlooking the walkway below. Very bright. Overall a great use of space with a small couch, coffee table and a "rain... More

Excellent service, very good breakfast, very clean and convenient to center of Old Quebec across from the Frontenac. We had three couples and all of us enjoyed various quality rooms, all worked very well so take what is available and enjoy your stay.

Very stylish and electric rooms, excellent and friendly service, and in the center of all Old Quebec has to offer! All of the staff we met were very friendly and helpful, elaborating without being asked. You walk out the door in the morning following an excellent complimentary breakfast in their restaurant on the first floor, and you immediately see street... More

Bonjour Pensco, Thank you for your kind words on your previous stay with us. As the hotel is composed of 2 old very old buildings joined together, we were able to keep all the historic stone walls and wooden beam of the 17th and 18th century and add modern amenities like heated floor and a very good free wifi !... In June, my husband and I celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary, staying four nights in this lovely, boutique hotel. The staff was attentive and could not have been more helpful, guiding us to superb restaurants and local sites. They even packed us a boxed breakfast for the last morning when we had an early plane to catch. Our room, just... More
