We loved Quebec City and found such a nice place to stay. Auberge Place D'Armes was located in a great spot near the Frontenac promenade. The area was busy during the day but surprisingly quiet at night. Very nice hotel with excellent caring staff, and a lovely restaurant on site. We had a lovely room on the upper floor that... More

My wife and I spent a week here for our honeymoon. It was a wonderful stay and we couldn't have been happier with the hotel or the service. We booked an attic room, be prepared that there is no elevator as it is in the old city in a very old building. They give you the option of not having... More

The hotel is charming and quaint in an absolutely perfect location. The included breakfast was lovely. That being said, we were two couples traveling together so were able to see two different rooms. Ours faced the street and was small but fine with an exposed brick wall. Our friends however booked after we did and must have gotten the last... More

I knew this would be a lovely place but it was even better! I was a bit concerned that the rooms would feel too cramped but ours was not only completely renovated but as quaint as could be! We loved it. The location can NOT be beat and everyone at the hotel was so friendly and accomadating ! We would... More

As a solo traveller I found the location to be perfect and the staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good and got your day off to a great start. This hotel is also a half block away from the travel information centre which is also very convenient.

Our room was not available when we arrived early, but they securely stored our luggage until it was ready. While the hotel doesn't have an elevator, they will assist you with luggage. There are many boutique hotels in Old Quebec, but few have double beds which is what we required. We stayed in the loft which had 2 king size... More

My friend and I recently stayed here in the top-floor loft, which was perfect - beautifully appointed; spacious, clean and very comfortable, king-sized beds. The location is central and convenient to all the shops and restaurants. (Their full breakfast was also a nice bonus.) The staff were awesome - extremely accommodating to all of our needs and helpful in giving... More

The reviews were so good that it was easy to decide to stay here but it did not quite live up to the descriptions. Some aspects were excellent - location is indeed ideal within easy walking distance of all sites and shops in the Upper Town, the Citadel, the funicular to the Lower Town. Staff were generally very helpful, valet... More

We just stayed 2 nights in October for our 10th anniversary and it couldn't have been better!! Anne, you were fabulous from check-in to check-out. Breakfast was delicious and just perfect to get our morning going. Stairs were never a problem as some have been concerned with. The location is prime....literally steps from all that you want to see. The... More

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights. The location was ideal. There is no parking but valet service was very convenient. The staff were exceptional. Everyone was friendly, helpful and patient with us trying to practice speaking French. The restaurant served excellent, creative and delicious food. We ate there every night! The wait staff were especially attentive and helpful.... More
