We chose it for location and for cheaper parking than in other hotels. Big room, big bathroom, minibar refrigerator, and they even has a coffee machine! Steep stairs - not for people with knee problems, wooden shutters instead of curtains, noiseless A/C on the wall that kept the temperature at 68, as we set it to be. The only not... More

Absolutely close to everything. We arrived by train so parking was not an issue. A short taxi ride from the train station. The public bus & eco bus stop right across the street. Some of the best restaurants just a short walk. Very clean & spacious. Refrigerator in the room. Coffee maker. Table for two overlooking the street below. AC... More

My wife and I just returned from a four night stay at this hotel. We were greeted when we arrived, and told how to negotiate our parking (for a daily fee which appeared to be reduced by staying at this hotel, $14 versus $22/day). The room had everything we needed, including the most unique shower stall in the bedroom. Our... More

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights mid-August 2014. The entrance is a bit funny, and if i would not have read the reviews here earlier I would be very lost...The "hotel lobby" is actually a cashier in a gift shop. After you come in and announce your arrival, they take you to yet another entrance to a different... More

This hotel had a great location in Quebec City. The parking was extra, but discounted and almost right across the street from the hotel. The check in desk was in a shop and the people were very helpful and polite. There is no elevator so we had a bit of a climb to the 3rd floor. The bathroom was large... More

Granted that this is an old hotel/chateau (even the people managing the place admitted that to us) but the room was clean and cozy. I stayed in a room with a view of the street and I loved it. The room was spacious and the bed was queen sized. From the hotel, it is so easy to walk around Old... More

The Hotel Le Cavalier Du Moulin definitely delivers. It is in the heart of the old city on Rue St Louis literally steps away from the Chateau Frontenac and the busy Rue St. Anne. However, because of the double windows we could hear none of the noise of the busy street life below – even on Saturday night. The room... More

Me and my partner stumbled across this lovely hotel on our way through to Toronto. For its location the $70 a night price tag was great! The whole building had wonderful character and charm, even down to the crooked staircase. I would definitely recommend this place, receptionist was great and parking was easy and secure for a reasonable $14 for... More

Let's start by saying that the people of old Quebec are wonderful! Even tolerated my feeble attempts are high school French. We had a great time there. The hotel is what I'd expect of a not very expensive lodging - we paid around $135 USD. The bed was a bit hard, but not that bad. The room itself is small,... More

My family and I just returned from visiting the province of Quebec. Yes... start with Quebec City!! And if you only have time to visit one city, definitely visit Quebec City. It is the most European city we visited (we also went to Montreal, Ottawa, Trois Riviere, Saint Saveur, Saint Adele, and other smaller towns). Quebec City has a great... More
