No issues with the stay, although the breakfast was perhaps a bit lackluster (there was a kids' hockey team staying who pretty much ravaged the buffet). Hotel is typical 3-4 star, reasonably appointed rooms, although its a bit of a sprawling layout. Good free internet. My biggest complaint was location - this is on the outskirts of the city, so... The place is now called Auberge Québec and is part of the Jaro hotel chain. One of the few places where you can still find smoking rooms (although few of them) in Quebec City. Our room was perfectly OK - very clean, with good mattresses, a coffeemaker and a balcony. Wifi free and decent, old TV but image and choice... More

We stayed here as part of our fly drive tour of Eastern Canada. The hotel is on the outskirts of the city although close to the main highways. There is a bus stop a few meters from the Hotel with buses running every half hour at a reasonable charge which we felt was better than driving into Quebec. The hotel... More

We booked 2 rooms at this hotel through the Quebec information centre on highway 20. They assured my traveling companions that were visiting from Singapore that this was an excellent hotel and was only a 15 minute walk to Old Quebec City. That was 2 false statements. The hotel was a dump and the distance to Old Quebec City is... More

We stayed here one night and we tried to get the rate advertised outside on a sign for $65.99 but the guy at the front desk said it was not available so he offered us a room for $25 more. We took it and the room was a bit off. It had a balcony and the furniture was out dated... More

So before I can really say anything, When I stayed in this hotel it was with Breakaway tours for spring break, so we traveled in a pack of about 200 or more students for four nights in March 2013. This hotel is located in a cluster of other hotels (nicer ones might I add) and right outside a double lane... More

Yes the hotel is cheap but you really get what you pay for, in a bad way. Staff is not really interested in helping, breakfast is a complete joke (eating out of styrofoam plates?!), hallways smell weird, rooms are small and terribly decorated. The location is also not great, and it is to be avoided if you don't have a... More

We stayed at this hotel for a hockey tournament during the month of January 2013. To say this place needs renovating is an understatement....the decor is from the 70's. The staff did not make this an enjoyable weekend for our group of parents at all. The security guard kept bothering us when there was no one else in the hotel.... More

First day of vacation and the plan was to overnight in Quebec City - what wasn't planned was a Madonna concert in town that night - booking up almost every room in town. All the local hotels, recognizing the supply/demand situation, were giving no deals - pretty much stuck with rack rates. Despite the $64.99 sign, the best room price... More

Hotel is located in the Avenue Des Hotels area, right off the bridge, so prices are similar to nearby hotels (We paid $143 for the night), even if this property is not up to par. Feels like the "Poor Cousin" of the Jaro Hotels. Some items have been updated, but rooms seem dated regardless, they tried to give them this... More
