We were fortunate enough to find this hidden gem to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary in Quebec City. The location was perfect and the price of the room quite reasonable for this expensive city. You are steps away from the water and the Chateau, on a quiet street. This B&B was indeed very centrally located to everywhere you would want... More

This B&B is beautifully located in old Quebec. We were literally steps away from all that you need to visit as a tourist. The rooms were clean (we had to move to a different room since ours was double booked) however no complaints as they were super apologetic about it. We loved the breakfast prepared in the brick-exposed basement. Loved... More

We stayed at B&B de la Fontaine for our honeymoon. Loved the location, the room and the price. The B&B was clean and well renovated. The bed was comfortable, the room spacious and the breakfasts were great. The breakfast room was like a small bistro and we enjoyed talking with the other guests while enjoying a leisurely breakfast. Our host... More

Traveling with two adults and two kids, 14 and 11, we were comfortable in our room at the B&B. The location was ideal for exploring old Quebec on foot. Breakfasts were wholesome and delicious, we felt well looked after by our host. Air Conditioning worked well, beds were comfortable, shower was hot. Steep and narrow stairs, so ground floor is... I stayed at B&B de la Fontaine for six nights in July, during the Quebec Summer Music Festival (Festival d'Ete de Quebec). The B&B was beautiful and well appointed, with a comfortable bed, high ceilings in my room, AC and a fan for air circulation, a small table and chairs, a desk, and a small refrigerator. There was also a... More

We had a wonderful 7 days at the B&B de la Fontaine. The B&B itself was great; a lovely old house in the heart of Vieux Quebec City, just a couple of streets away from the Dufferin Terrasse & the Chateau Frontenac. Our room was clean and spacious with a comfortable bed plus two chairs and a couch to relax... More

We spent one night at the B&B and we really liked it. Old "original" building in the old town, nice and clean rooms (ours had even a nice balcony) and a perfect breakfast (granola, fresh juices, joghurt, fresh fruits, honey, peanut butter, butter, cookies, cakes, omelettes, 3 different kind of breads from the bakery, coffee, tea, chai, and so on...)!!... My husband and I stayed at this reasonably priced B and B in September 2013 and would definitely stay there again. Our room, on the main floor, was roomy and had extras: wifi, fridge, desk, three chairs, and a flatscreen TV. Victoria's breakfasts were delicious and plentiful. Perhaps the best part about this B and B is its location... a... More

We stayed for 2 days in September. This B & B is steps to the Citadel, Dufferin Terrace, restaurants and main streets. It was a lovely room with reasonable rates. For breakfast the coffee was freshly ground, and fresh market purchased bread was served. The hostess, Victoria, was very friendly and helpful.

As it happened to other guests, we found an envelope at the door with "instrucctions" inside, so come in, and do-it-yourself. We felt simply "alone" there... this provides some advantages sometimes, but no one could help us carring our bags, in such a narrow entrance and through the stairs, because nobody was there, except on breakfast time... coffee was from...
