While not inexpensive, we find it perfectly meets our needs in Quebec City and would not hesitate to recommend it to others. Just recently spent three nights at this hotel, staff were very friendly however the service was extremely poor - our room was never cleaned before 4:30 - 5:00p.m. - staff informed us we were not on their priority list.....called room service and asked for three wine glasses and a cork screw........after more than an hour and three calls later it... more

I have no problem recomending this hotel. Great location. The pool was great at the end of the day. The room was fine. Two kings with a suite area. Quebec was incredibly beautiful. My wife and kids were also pleased with my hoyel selection. Right outside St. Johns gate. Free internet in room was a huge plus! more

My husband and I have just returned from a 3 night stay at Palace Royale. Location is perfect. Hotel is spotlessly clean and beds extremely comfortable. REALLY REALLY BAD SERVICE at front desk. Hotel is in great location (downtown location) and rooms are very nice and clean BUT, I will NEVER stay there again just because of the poor service we received.
