The hotel is located directly above the cafe of the same name and it was slightly odd that you had to check in via the cafe as there was no one manning the reception desk upstairs which is locked. The stairs at the front were quite narrow and steep which made carrying luggage a little bit awkward but luckily it... More

We enjoyed our stay at the café Kreigoff petit hotel. Rooms are small but very nice and cosy. Perfectly fine for a few days. There is also a little balcony with a few chairs that guest can use, would have love to sit back and relax over a glass of wine, but unfortunatly the balcony and staircase is full of... More

After the welcome we were asked to wait just a few minutes for a table to open up, but given glasses of water. Limited selection of beer, but delicious lunches. Salads tasty, but thin on dressing . The Onion Tarte rated highly. The fish (Fish and Chips) was bland.

At 11:30 i was looking for a restaurant to have a breakfast, i was really wishing that with all my heart and stomach and my fiancée was looking for food (steak). So We looked at many menus and was horrible and difficult being in the same place and having our wishes, until We arrived here. For me was like being... More

We found Cafe Krieghoff to be a perfect place for a late lunch sitting on the outdoor multi-level deck adjacent to the street and people watching on bustling Avenue Cartier. The Boreal Red beer on draft was excellent and our waiter was laid back with a fun sense of humor. The food was very good. In addition to the standard... More

Coffee is taken seriously here; they don't even make the filtered stuff. After many espresso longs in the city, I kept coming back here. Breakfast is excellent. The eggs Benedict lovely. Had a great carrot cake with coffee. A lunch of fish and chips was a bit disappointing. A bit greasy and not much taste. But given the superb coffee,... More

Overpriced rooms, not worth 195 dollars for two for a night (plus extra charge for breakfast, since the limit for breakfast was 12 dollars per person and no one informed us in the beginning. Breakfast was good though, I wouldn't recommend staying there for a night, maybe just having a breakfast there is ok.

This was my 2nd time in this small and comfortable hotel just above a very popular café. Rooms were recently renovated, comfortable bed and couple of chairs, table and a flat screen TV. Good air conditioning (but if you decide to open a window it gets too loud because of working AC unit). Free Wi-Fi and a free breakfast served... More

It is what you'd expect of a French bistro. Little tables near from one to the other, French instrumental music, French cuisine. The fried squids and the bouillabaisse were delicious, the coffee espresso perfect. Not a over the top restaurant, but a nice one.

The rooms are small, but they have everything you need. The furniture and the decoration are modern. Downstairs is the Cafe Krieghoff. The hotel reservation included a charge of $12, per person, for breakfast at the Cafe. The à la carte breakfast offers a good variety of dishes. The quality of the food is very good. The value for the... More
