Absolutely lovely weekend in Quebec for our 26th wedding anniversary. Hotel has wonderful location where we walked to everything. Not one issue and all lovely from check in to check out. Helpful front desk. Beautiful public areas. Room #8 with exposed stone walls in room and exposed brick in bathroom. Breakfast wasn't the best so we skipped it after the... More

Nice very old hotel in the old city. Easy to get to. Very near everything not a hotel for anyone with a physical disability - yes it it 45 steps up a circular stairway to the third floor. Room was small but adequate and very clean. Staff was pleasant. Would stay again

My husband and I spend three nights at hotel Le Clos St-Louis. The hotel is charming, one feels like they have fell back in time. The atmosphere is upscale elegant s. We had the pleasure of staying in a two room suite (number 5). The suites antique decor was lovely, and very comfortable. The bed linens were impressive, the mattress... More

This was a lovely victorian hotel-we arrived and waited for almost 10 minutes for someone to come to the desk and assist us. Once checked in we carried our luggage up two flights of stairs. (No elevator-which was fine.) Our room was a bit stuffy, so we opened the windows after searching for a thermostat, to no avail. The next... More

The reviews offering bounteous praise for this 18-room B&B are more than justified. My wife and I recently spent three delightful nights at Le Clos St-Louis, occupying a fourth floor room (#26) that would suit Emerson, Hawthorne, or even Thoreau who would consider it his "turret." The ceiling slanted sharply in conformity to the roof line. Heavy timbers, painted black,... More

Your passion for our hotel motivates me to keep this beautiful Victorian house. Built in 1844, it still contains the elements of its original design. With its wooden staircases and floors, its marble fireplaces, high ceilings and large windows, it remains a jewel to keep and a place that I love. The floor on which you stayed, the fourth floor,... We stayed there in July. When we got there it looked cute. I feel that they need to let people know when booking that it's all steps to the room. We stayed on the 3rd floor which was 58 steps to our room. Also the parking in the back is very small. If you have a car that is bigger... More

This is a very quaint bed and breakfast located in old Quebec. The staff is very friendly. They offer a morning breakfast which is very delicious. The hotel is decorated in an old Victorian style. This hotel is not handicapped accessible. Our room was located on third floor, up a winding staircase.

Lovely, small, well-appointed hotel in old Quebec. Friendly staff. Dynamite breakfast included. But if you're not in shape reserve well ahead of time to ensure you get a room on a lower floor because there is no elevator. Several trips up and down to our fourth-floor room (two including two suitcases and a fully loaded camera backpack) made for intensive... More

Recently spent two nights at Hotel Le Clos St Louis. The location is perfect walking distance to everything. The hotel is simply beautiful. The lobby is finished with gorgeous sitting areas, a fireplace and chandelier, stunning. Our room was tastefully decorated with an armoir, desk, sitting area and beautiful window treatments. The bedding was high end and of course the... More

Beautiful hotel, and such friendly staff. I would recommend this hotel to everyone. Very pleased with our stay. This hotel is located right in the thick of everything which is fantastic, no need to drive anywhere. Planning on heading back to Quebec City soon and I wouldn't stay anywhere else.
