This attractive building is furnished inside with antique-like furnishings, although we didn't see other rooms, I suspect they are all somewhat different. In what was once a large front room, they had added an nice ensuite bathroom, and most importantly for our visit in August when the temps were in the low 90s, a/c. Our host couldn't have been more... My wife and I enjoyed one night at this B&B. The room was superb, the hosts formidable and the breakfast was exquisite. On top of that the other guests were very pleasant. They only have three rooms available but they are in a spectacular house

Beautiful B & B right outside of Quebec City. The house itself is very clean and beautifully decorated. We stayed in the Dumontier room (in the front of the house). The wood window shades kept the light and noise out perfectly. The room had a bathroom, A/C, and a small kitchenette (refrigerator, microwave, dishes, sink) . The towels were so... More

We loved this Historic Home. Daniel and Stéphane are really hospitable and cook an exquisite breakfast. Locate in the suburb but only 8 to 15 minutes drive from Quebec city center and Old Quebec. We certainly will be back Magnifique maison historique. Daniel et Stéphane sont des hotes chaleureux et cuisinent un petit-dejeuner digne d'un Roi. En banlieu mais a... More

Our one night stay must rank as one of the more memorable experiences of our three week visit to Ontario and Quebec. The two owners were very friendly and accommodating. The rooms and in fact the whole house were exquisitely furnished with antiques, cleanliness was unmatched, breakfast amazing, and owners were very helpful in showing us how to get to... More

Beautiful old house with 12 feet high ceilings, wooden floors, well maintained, quiet and tastefully decorated. We stopped there for a night in Québec en route to Charlevoix. Hassle-free and cheap alternative to staying in old Québec. We left our car parked at the B & B and took the 800 bus that runs in front of the house every... More

We only stayed there for one night but we wish we stayed for the whole weekend! The house is really beautiful and full of character! Our room was huge and tastefully decorated. The hosts were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The owners are very proud of this place and it shows with their attention to detail. Stephane told us that... More

The B&B was a wonderful retreat for us in Quebec City. We booked it for only two nights and wish we had stayed longer. The hosts are extremely hospitable and pointed out things to see in the city, including showing us websites and how to get there. The breakfast was amazing: coffee, juice, yogurt and toppings - loved the walnuts... More

Gite Dumontier was charming, cozy and very inviting! And the location is perfect, a 10min drive into Old Quebec. Daniel and Stéphane are perfect hosts! Very warm and the attention to detail was impeccable! Our room (The Dumontier) was incredible. It had high ceilings, huge windows, super spacious and decorated Victorian style. Our bed was so comfy, we slept like... More

We are recommending Gite Royal Dumontier to all of our friends and family; and will make this our home away from home when we visit Quebec City again! The hospitality we experienced during our stay was exceptional. Our room was comparable to that of five star hotels in which we stayed in U.S.A. and Europe; as was the breakfast. Gite... More
