A La Decouverte is a lovely B&B just outside the walls of the old city. It provides a perfect location from which to explore the city. Once you check in, you have no need of a car, as you can easily walk to everything within the upper and lower walled city, as well as along the dock. Nathalie is a... More

A wonderful couple runs the B&B. We were made to feel welcome right away. The room was large, airy, comfortable and wonderfully decorated including Nathalie's own paintings! The excellent location made exploring the old city very convenient. Bring comfy shoes to navigate the hilly streets!

This is our first B&B experience and our first time at Quebec City. Beautiful house, excellent location. Very close to train station, and walking distance to inner city. Very lovely location just outside the wall. The hosts are excellent and very friendly. We visited last summer for 3 days (August 2014) and because we came in the middle of the... More

Thank you so much for taking the time to draft this review and for giving such kind encouragement. We have taken good note of the shower head problem and had it fixed ! Thanks for pointing it out to us. More

Lovely Bed & Breakfast located just across the street of the walls of Old Quebec City. A walk up the steep hill and you were at Rue St. Jean in Old Quebec City - great location close to everything. Going in the opposite direction you were only a couple of blocks from the Market (Marche du Vieux-Port de Quebec). Stayed... More

This little B&B is amazing! Hidden gem located conveniently across the street from Vieux-Quebec (Old Quebec City), and you can see the Fortifications right outside the place. Nathalie and Paul are very helpful and friendly, especially Nathalie who provided us not only with useful local recommendations, as well as her homemade breakfast and handmade soap! Love the breakfast! Nathalie tries... More

Beautiful B&B just opposite the wall of the old city very near to the train station. Paul & Nathalie made us feel very welcome. We stayed in the Byzantine room which was very comfortable and quiet with a lovely bathroom. Everything was very clean and made you feel like you were at home. Nathalie makes her own breads for breakfast... More

Having stayed in a large hotel in our previous Canadian destination, we looked to choose a different type of accommodation in Quebec City. And what a treat it was! Nathalie and Paul were very welcoming and accommodating, particularly as they helped to arrange a 2nd bedroom for a surprise visit from our children's uncle! The breakfasts were very enjoyable and... This was my first B&B experience, normally I prefer all the 'amenities' you get in a hotel, but all I can say is that I LOVED IT !! Location is perfect, the room was nicely decorated, Nathalie is an amazing host ( I'm gluten/ dairy intolerant and she baked specially for me! ), loved the detail of homemade soaps. I'm... More

My husband and I stayed at B&B A La Decouverte for two nights in August on our first trip to Quebec City. After our long drive from Massachusetts, we were happy to park our car (at a pay lot nearby) and never need it again until the trip home. EVERYTHING (restaurants, sights, old port…) is within walking distance of this... More
