My husband and I just returned from a week-end stay at Le Manoir d'Auteuil. We were given this as a gift from our boys for Christmas so I had no idea what to expect except from what I read on Tripadvisor. From start to finish our stay was spectacular. We were greeted upon our arrival by Dan who is the... More

The staff is welcoming, always smiling. This is not a hotel, it's like being in someone's house and you're a guest. There's no elevator but this historic little residence really does not need it. It's walking distance to everything and just inside the gates of old Quebec. The staff recommend places to go and and they were bang on. This... More

Bonjour Steve, Yes, indeed, I remember you both, and let me say it was a true pleasure meeting you and your wife. The Amyotte room is one of our historic Junior Suites. and yes, I too love the restored art deco bathroom! Your son truly is the best, what a great Christmas gift! We are all thrilled you enjoyed your... More

My partner and I stayed over for a weekend using a Groupon, it was my first time using a voucher at a hotel and I was a little worried. Well I had nothing to worry about here, the staff was top notch, they all went above and beyond to make our stay an enjoyable one. From recommending restaurants, to searching... More

Bonjour, and let me tell you your review made our day! Thank you so much for your kind words. Low season is a great time to visit Quebec City, and every year we offer one special through Groupon during the low season. They usually come available for sale just before Christmas and make great Christmas gifts. You can always call... More

The only reason why we found this place was through groupon coupons. We had an amazing and romantic stay. The staff were incredibly helpful and make it difficult to stay anywhere else for our next visit.

Bonjour Vianca, Thank you for taking a moment to write a review. Glad to hear you enjoyed your stay with us. Every year, we offer a package through Groupon during the low season. Feel free to contact us directly and ask if we are running any specials. Unfortunately, we cannot do so in the high season, but coming to Quebec... More

We got stuck in Quebec an extra night and ended up staying here. The staff was extremely helpful, polite, and great at recommending places to eat and visit. We stayed in the European room which was located on the top (3rd floor). They do not have elevators because the building is historic but the walk up is nothing. The room... More

Bonjour M. Adam! It was a pleasure meeting you during your stay, all be it a short one, here in Quebec City. Not such a terrible place to get stuck with car trouble I imagine. Thank you for taking a moment to write a review, we truly appreciate it, and I must say I am thrilled you enjoyed your stay... More

I had no intention of writing a review or speaking on this hotel. After a wonderful weekend stay February 5 - 9 I could not miss the chance. Upon arrival not what I expected, sort of a regular old building just like the others in Quebec City. Once you get inside you soon find how people fall in love with... More

Bonjour! First of all, I would like to thank you for taking the time to write such an extensive review. Everyone on the staff truly appreciates your kind words, and trust me, you have made everyone's day! Your tip for the younger set: the 4th floor european rooms, is a great suggestion, after all, we are historic and do not... More

The hotel itself beautiful, the room (on the 4th floor) was clean with a spacious shower and comfortable bed. What was most exceptional was how every single staff member we interacted with was a pleasure to talk to. Before we had even ventured out on the first day, the receptionist had armed us with a dozen restaurant and activity recommendations.... More

Bonjour Molly! Delighted to hear you enjoyed your european room! Yes, these rooms are situated on the fourth floor of the historic Manor, so if anyone has difficulties with mobility or stairs, these rooms would not be the best choice. In this case, an entry level room would be best suited. Thank you for mentioning that your room was so... More

I booked this hotel after reading all of the positive reviews on Trip Advisor. I was traveling to Quebec for the winter carnival (if you have never been to the winter carnival in Quebec you must go at least once, but bring your snow pants and/or snowmobile suit because it is C-O-L-D there). As usual, Trip Advisor members did not... More

Merci! I must say, I truly appreciate you writing such a detailed review. I am glad you enjoyed your stay with us and your room as well. Room 11 is one of our classique queen rooms, and has a lovely view of the parliament hill. (And yes, during winter carnaval, we do see the ice castle!) Although similar in decor,... More

It was perfect! Service was the best!!! It was close to everything. 2 small complaints: no elevator and there's a high hill to get back to the hotel :( but the great service compensated for it.
