This is a small boutique hotel in a great location in Old City Quebec. It is family owned and operated and committed to excellence. My wife and I spent five very pleasant days here and enjoyed the experience very much. When we return to Quebec City, as we hope to do, this is where we will stay. Our room with... More

Wonderful character hotel within the old city walls. The reception staff, particularly Nancy and Gabrielle made our stay perfect, giving excellent service including recommendations of restaurants and things to see and do. The breakfast of sliced exotic fruits, yoghurt, granola, orange juice and warm croissant set us up for the day. Freshly brewed coffee was available all day with a... More

Bonjour and thank you so much for the kind review. Nancy and Oriana are both such lovely people, and I am glad you had the chance to meet them during your stay with us. We appreciate the support, and thank you for noticing our comfy mattresses! Enjoy the holiday season ahead, and I hope we will have the chance to... More

Location is excellent in the old part of Quebec City. Staff is very pleasant and most helpful. Rooms are clean but do need a bit of a facelift. Still and excellent deal. More of a boutique hotel with 29 rooms in a heritage building. No elevators as a result of the heritage status.

Bonjour M. Aleksander! I am so glad to hear you enjoyed your stay with us. My guess is that you were in one of our european rooms, situated on the 4th floor which is the garret of the manor. These rooms are petite, with slanted ceilings and a dormer window, full of european charm. Cleanliness is really a priority for... More

We were most impressed by the hotel in so many ways. The location was close to everything - Old Town, the Citadele, restaurants, and shopping; the value was fantastic considering the location; it had the atmosphere that so defines Quebec City; and the room (Rome 52) was huge by any measure. To top all of that, the staff was most... More

Bonjour M. et Mme. Stuart, I am absolutely thrilled you enjoyed your stay with us. Rooms 52 and 53 are situated on the garden level, and yes, they are most certainly very quiet. Room 52 is one of our classic queen rooms. This room is one of our more spacious rooms with one queen bed. Room 53 is one of... More

I booked Le Manoir d'Auteuil Hotel for a quick vacation to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday. The hotel was perfect! It is a small and charming. The owners are warm and welcoming. The staff is amazing and so very helpful. If you want "plastic" then this is not for you ...but, if you want a hotel that is ideally located, comfortable,... More

Bonjour Anne, and thank you so very much for the review. What a perfect way to celebrate your boyfriend's birthday! As you mention, the location is perfect and I am thrilled to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us. We are a boutique hotel, and given the heritage of the property, we most certainly are not "plastic". I believe... More

The best things this hotel has to offer are its lovely location opposite the Parc de l'esplanade, and it's delightful, helpful staff. But the rooms, while decently sized, are drably furnished. It could use some updating.

Bonjour, and I am glad to hear you enjoyed your stay with us. We entirely renovated the hotel in January of 2013, so it sounds like you do not care for our decor choice. We tried to stay true to the art deco history of the hotel. I realize the "in" thing is urban contemporary, but given that the house... More

Great location, inside the old city walls, and within short walking distance of shops, restaurants and attractions. The street was very quiet and just across from the Plains of Abraham and parliament buildings. The staff was overly helpful and accommodating, and Linda (owner) was very gracious in arranging a room for us to use after regular checkout so that we... More

Bonjour and thank you for the review! I remember you very well. You had stayed in the former chapel of the house. This is a petit room with two twin beds, situated on the ground floor. Because this room is situated on the backside of the property, the room is very quiet. View rooms will experience some city noise, but... More

My husband and I spent a night in this delightful boutique hotel in Oct 2014. It was a very large clean interesting junior suite. We were on the ground floor, and our suite was huge. Un gros merci! Thank you for taking a moment to write a review. You were in the Omer Marchand Junior Suite, named after the architect who designed the art deco renovations of this historic residence back in the 1920's. This room is the former library of the home, and I agree, this is a beautiful art deco beauty! Because these... More

On arriving at the hotel we were met by Linda the owner on the front desk. What a delightful person who was so friendly and knowledgeable about Quebec. We were offered an upgrade to the first floor. We sent there with my love last WE, and luckily got upgraded to room 8, called Edith Piaf. Was soooo impressive! The bed is über comfortable, the room is charming....
