Perfect location, friendly staff, parking available (yes, you pay for it, but the convenience is worth it!). Room very European in style (clean, quaint, tiny bathroom ... but, hey, who wants a "motel" feel?) No elevator so be prepared for stairs. More

We traveled for the marathon and this hotel was close to everything we needed. Our room was spacious and clean and although the bathroom was small, the shower was awesome. The people were friendly and helpful. We certainly would stay there again. More

Chateau de Pierre was an excellent vacation location. The room was very clean and well equipped. The location close to the waterfront and the Chateau, was perfect. Patricia was welcoming and helpful. I'd recommend this hotel. More

It is true that the location of the Pierre is terrific, with easy walking to all the wonderful sights (& foods!) of Quebec. But our room (#7) was quite small, furnishings dated, tiny tv, no a/c. Funniest of all was the bathroom, which you cd not even turn around in! To say they include "breakfast" is sad - a tiny... More

The best thing about this hotel is the location - right downtown! Seconds to the boardwalk and the Fleuve St. Laurent! Right in Old Quebec City - inside the old walls. It's a charming old mansion converted to a hotel. The Staff are helpful and friendly and the rooms are clean and pleasant. Great value for the money (if booking... More

This B&B has a great room in the demi-sous sol. However, the breakfast was really light and the woman made the same muffin every single day. Good luck if you don't like oatmeal muffins! The owners need to vary the breakfast - add in some fruit and don't be so sting-ey for pete's sake. Value for breakfast was zilch. Location... More

We set ourselves one week in Quebec City. Le Chateau de Pierre was perfect for our stay. The location in the old city is superb; a quiet street, walking distance to all attractions, restaurants, shopping, the boardwalk with views of the St Laurent for a walk after dinner, and to the many places where street performers entertain every day and night.... This auberge has nice rooms decorated appropriately for Old Quebec, and the location right by the boardwalk is amazing. Management is wonderful and right on top of all issues. We'd absolutely stay here again! More

Our room was compact but complete. Saw many complaints about the size of the bathroom but considering the age of the property (they were not built with ensuite back then) and considering it is very european it was quite managable. Our room was on the third floor but there are rooms available on the ground floor if stairs are a... More

We stayed at Chateau de Pierre for 2 nights from July 25 till July 27, 2011. The hotel is located in a great location in Old Quebec City. I would recommend this hotel for its location, cleanness and also the fabulous staff. More
