We had an outstanding reunion the last week of June 2007, for twenty-three family members from all over the U.S. at the Auberge La Goeliche, Sainte Petronille, Ile d'Orleans, Quebec. We found L'Auberge La Goeliche by chance, after deciding not to extend our stay at another place on the island. We really liked the ambience of this small hotel, rebuilt after a fire in the 1990's. La Goeliche is located on Ile D'Orleans, about 20-30 minutes from the old city of Quebec. We stayed in Quebec City at Hotel Dominion (a great choice for four nights), and then came to the island for four additional nights. Four nights was a little long for this island.
