Our family of 4, including two young boys, had a lovely stay here. The staff are kind and helpful, rooms very comfortable and clean, common areas welciming and pretty, and the location is perfect - so close to Plains of Abraham and within walking distance of the old city. Highly recommend.

We very much enjoyed our stay here. We had the executive room which was roomy enough for two and all of our "stuff". Aside from the owner, who greeted us with a litany of all the things we were going to be paying him for, the staff is very helpful and friendly. Even the owner lightened up later on, but... More

The place is great, well located by the Battlefield Park and the Museum. the rooms are comfortable and the bathroom complete with great amenities. the personnel was very hospitable and polite. they truly care! My wife and I wanted to spend a week in Quebec city after a hectic summer. Unfortunately we left the booking until the last minute and most locations were booked. I got the name of this hotel on a recommendation from the owner of the top rated B&B on Trip Advisor and was able to get a room basically at... More

My husband visited Quebec City for two days (August 21-22) and chose to stay at the Auberge du Quartier based on TripAdvisor reviews, which were right on target. We stayed in Room #205, an 1850 Superior room. There were no rooms on either side of us but there were rooms across the hallway (odd configuration due to an old building).... More

Traveling with my husband, 1-year old and father, we stayed in the 1850 suite, which was very spacious and the perfect design for our group. There is one big bedroom with a king sized, veeeeery comfy bed, tv, fireplace and a pull out couch and a separate little bedroom with a full bed and TV. All the furniture, carpet, etc... More

We had two days to explore Quebec City and this was the perfect place to base ourselves. The room wasn't overly big but it was modern, well appointed and very comfortable. The staff were extremely friendly and the roof-top terrace was ideal to enjoy a coffee in the morning sun.

Basically, we were in the Auberge mostly for sleeping and breakfast only, which was probably a good thing since there are no amenities at this hotel. We arrived during a time of construction of the main street Grande-Allee which forced us to do a couple of detours before arriving to destination (we walked from the train station and oh boy,... Decent hotel that is nicely decorated, very well maintained and has excellent staff, but is expensive and lacking amenities. The location is good (close to two very nice bar/restaurant districts) but not great as it is a fair distance from the old city (30 minute walk). The cheaper rooms are in the basement (not made clear when booking) and while... More

Spent four nites at Auberge. Great location, Battlefields Park with the Art Museum just across the street, Cartier Ave is a half block and has a good selection of restaurants, bars, grocery stores, bakeries and the government liquor outlet. The old part of the city is a ten minute walk along Grand Allee. By choice, had the smallest room, still... More
