We were part of a group attending a wedding. I think there were about 34 of us. The staff was excellent and very accommodating. The breakfast room, although a little small was great for us to all get together in the morning and also at other times during the day. The rooms were nicely refurbished but my only complaint was... Beware!!! You might end up in UNDERGROUND ROOM!! Luckly I stayed here only an one night. My room # was 300, so I went up to 3rd floor but ther wasn't room300. When I asked for a direction, it is around corner few steps down. There is big diference between a few steps and a basement. Even an youth hostel... More

The hotel came highly recommended, however there were some drawbacks and shortcomings. We stayed in the Romantic Room for our 20th anniversary. The carpet was not clean at all, and the room itself could have been cleaner. We had issues with the room heater as well, which was rectified by staff promptly. The biggest complaint is the housekeeping. Two of... More

Recently stayed here with a friend for one night. We absolutely loved everything from the old elevator to the front desk attendants. The rooms were spotless and absolutely beautiful. Bed was comfy enough and had a window that could open or close. Hotel is only 20 minute walk from old Quebec. Would defiantly recommend to all family and friends!!

I stayed one night visiting Laval U. The location is great, just a short walk from the large park along the river from which you can easily walk downtown and near a commercial district (which I didn't visit). It is a small unique hotel built in what looks like a former home. My basement room was entirely satisfactory, but not... More

My husband and I very much enjoyed our stay for 5 nights at this hotel! The hotel staff was always so nice and eager to help with anything that we needed or wanted! Pierre who works as the server for the breakfast was great! Always there to give us advice on touring the old city! Which we greatly appreciated! The... More

We only stayed one night however it was well worth the stay. Staff were all very helpful, attentive. Rooms were clean , modern, quiet, very comfortable. Breakfast was included and very good way to start the day. Only a short walk to all of the greta attractions of the old City. Parking was about 1 1/2 blocks away and cost... More

Pros: Quiet, very clean room. Located 2 blocks away from a large variety of food establishments. Bus stop located 2 blocks away, and bus provided a very short, quick trip to Upper town. Cons: You had to pay $10 per person for breakfast. You also had to pay for parking which I really did not like. I felt that the... More

I did come to like the hotel after our room was changed. We were in the basement with a very small window. Very hard to get our luggage down the narrow stairs and the room was stale smelling. Was much better after changing to a main floor room. Room was small but that was ok because we were only there... More

Our family of 4, including two young boys, had a lovely stay here. The staff are kind and helpful, rooms very comfortable and clean, common areas welciming and pretty, and the location is perfect - so close to Plains of Abraham and within walking distance of the old city. Highly recommend.
