The location is great, overlooking the Dufferin Terrace & St. Lawrence River. Service is friendly. Rooms are clean and comfortable. We have stayed there several times and will continue to use their lodging whenever we are in Quebec. more

My family & I recently stayed at the hotel and found the facility to be old but charming. The location can not be beat. It's better than the Chateau Frontenac because of the terrific view of the Frontenac from the hotel. Each morning the staff delivered a continental breakfast to the room. Move over, Frontenac. Your rooms and suites still need refurbishing and simply can't compare in value to this small, well-kept hotel. Besides, I don't think there's even a single (except the rooftop royal suite) Frontenac "balcony" that overlooks the St. Laurent or the boardwalk. Not so at the CdlTD. A group of 4 spent 4 days at this hotel during the Quebec Winter Carnival and found it very comfortable, clean, staff were very congenial and most of all within walking distance to all sites not to mention the great view of the St. Lawrence. Looking forward to returning. more
