Do reserve a room overlooking the St. Lawrence. Excellent views of the river and the Chateau Frontenac...at a fraction of the cost of staying at the Frontenac. You can easily walk to many restaurants and tourist sites. Room is a bit small but clean and the staff are very helpful and friendly. Parking is not to difficult as their are... More

We stayed here for a couple of nights and enjoyed our balcony view of the river and broad walk. Room was small but comfortable and clean. Bathroom tiny!!! Staff very nice and easily spoke English for us. Breakfast very basic, but convenient. Parking was great if you can get a spot. Wifi not great better on landing!

Excellent location, just steps from the Chateau Frontenac. All major sites in walking distance. Large bright room in historic 182-year-old building. Comfortable beds. Fantastic view from the room on ground floor, with small balcony. Prompt and friendly service and a reasonable price. The only negative is the lack of Wi-Fi in the room. In spite of being advertised, there was... More

We went back to this spot because we had been there on our honeymoon 25 years before. Sometimes, time can play tricks with your memory and we remember things better than they really were. I am happy to say, that that was not the case! I love this little spot! Our room (15) was a quaint little suite with a... More

My girlfriend and I stayed here from 9/13 - 9/18/2015 and had a very pleasant stay. I had originally booked through one of the major travel sites but later decided to book directly through the hotel. Katrin was very professional and fast with any answers to my questions. We stayed in Room #3 which is on the ground floor and... More

My husband and I stayed two nights and thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The hotel has a fabulous and helpful staff. The rooms were clean and the bed was great. Wow it's the money to spend for a room overlooking the river. Great sunrise and sunset. I would skip the breakfast

From a price perspective the Hotel is excellent in all respects particularly location and views.... mattress quality very good. Only negative was poor WIFI reception ... Management... More

Our family of 5 stayed in Room 4 on the 1st floor. The accomodations were very basic and could use some updating. The rooms were clean and it was quiet. We loved that everyone had their own bed which is important at times for 3 children. The location was perfect for exploring the city! The price was affordable and we... More

My boyfriend and I stayed at Hotel Terrasse Dufferin in late August for 2 nights. Upon check in, we were well informed of what room we were in, where to find parking (their lot was full), how to use the keys, and the breakfast that they offered in the mornings. Max was very friendly and gave us a map to... More
