Loved this little place for a quaint little get away. The staff were friendly and we could walk to everything! There's a great little breakfast bistro when you got out the front door to the right s couple doors - sorry forget the name!

You couldn't ask for a more picturesque setting than this Manoir de L'Esplanade. It is located right on a corner of the walled city, and from your window a tower and archway frame the view. Parking is conveniently located just across the street and with a voucher we paid $4. for a 2 day stay. Rooms have the original stone... More

This hotel is a real gem inside the walls of Old Quebec City. My friend and I stayed at this hotel for 2 weeks in August 2014. The hotel is in a great location just inside the gates of Old Quebec City. There is a park right across the street, and the hotel is within walking distance of everything ........ More

The hotel is very nicely located at one of the entry gates as it is located inside the fortress walls. Getting to the hotel is easy but you have to drive your outside the walls for parking & it cost $ 16 per day. The room was quaint but well appointed, the breakfast area was also quaint but ok. the... The service staff was very friendly and flexible, the luxury rooms are very nice equipped and it is in the middle of the old town - but quiet! The rooms are very tidy and clean. The breakfast area is simple and small but the lady taking care of the buffet is very friendly and well organized. According to the upper... More

This was the perfect hotel for our family vacation. My wife and I took our parents for their first trip to Quebec City (and Canada) ever, over the Columbus Day/Thanksgiving holiday. My parents are in their late 60's and my wife's parents are early 50's and mid 60's. The location is perfect. The Citadel is a block up and a... More

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights just this past Thanksgiving weekend. Drove from Toronto. Hotel is good for price and how close it is to all the Old Quebec has to offer. That's it! Oh, it has an elevator (good for parents with kids and elderly). Breakfast: was ok and clean area. Room: Please do not use wide... More

The Management wishes to apologize once again to our guest for the mistake of our maid who just wanted to offer the best possible service to her compatriot. Of course, maintaining the cleanliness of our facility all while respecting the privacy of the guests is the most important policy of our hotel which is operated by the same management for... More

Really cute small hotel. Walking distance to boardwalk and chateau Frontenac and citadel. Very clean. Friendly staff. Continental breakfast was adequate. Small quiches, bagels, fruit coffee, juice, etc. would stay there again.

As part of an annual vacation/road trip, my partner and I were planning several stops through Quebec, the Eastern Townships, Ottawa and Boston. We had never been in Old Quebec, and had been intrigued by several allusions to the old city in Louise Penny's mystery novel, Bury Your Dead. We crossed the St Lawrence River on the ferry from Levis... More

My husband and I just returned from a 2 night stay in Quebec City. We wanted a hotel that was within the walls of old Quebec and were pleasantly surprised with the hotel. Rooms are big and clean . Can't say enough about the staff. They were very friendly and very accomodating. Our room was not ready when we arrived... More
