The room was cozy but clean. We loved the romance of the traditional furniture, hardwood floors, exposed brick, electric fireplace and window seat. The bathroom was more modern, clean and spacious. Staff was excellent; as was the free breakfast each day. We were able to park our car in the hotel lot (off-site and a bit pricey at $17 daily)... More

The hotel building is old but the rooms are renovated and charming with exposed stone and brick. We were traveling with older teenagers and I booked two rooms at an excellent price. I would not recommend it for families with small children, the one elevator is slow and we used the stairs a lot. We had a queen room on... More

I would definitely recommend this hotel. The location is perfect. At the top of the hill in the old town, right by the fort walls and overlooking the parc de l'esplanade. The rooms are really nice. We chose one of the larger rooms and it was beautiful, exposed brick, wooden floors and the biggest, most comfy bed! Breakfast is free,... More

Wonderful location. Rooms small but very clean. Breakfast lacking protein; no eggs, cheese or meat. Shower was small and temperature of water varies throughout the length of your shower. Location of room is very important.

Really a gem. Could not find a better location. Go by foot everywhere. Small footage (french influence..?) But nice and eell kept room, great breakfast with great and hearty service. The only flaw is that they do not guide you, even when you ask, to the main events happening .

Great little hotel which provide a genuine rural French feel. Rooms are clean if a bit small, but you're right in the heart of Old Quebec City. Parking is offsite but still only a two minute walk. Friendly staff, well worth a visit at a reasonable price.

Thank you for taking the time to write this! If our rooms seem a little small it is because our building will be turning 170 next year, so we have to make the most of the available space. We hope your stay here has made you want to come back to our beautiful city! More

This building is right inside the walls of old Quecec city. The rooms are very clean and average size. Very quiet, comfortable beds, and good wifi. The decor is charming and keeps in line with the vibe of old Quebec. It's not a sterile feel like the big chain hotels. Breakfast every morning was pastries, fresh fruit, yogurt, coffee, juices,... The adorable hotel was perfect for our 11th annual ladies trip. We walked everywhere from here and we had a blast! The staff was very helpful in assisting us on our daily adventures. The rooms were super clean and comfy. They even served us breakfast. It was a perfect spot to see the sites!

Our room on the 3rd floor had a beautiful stone wall, we looked onto old Quebec. It was in walking distance to everything. Apparently it was an old nunnery in the early 1800's. It was so clean we looked and couldn't find anything. Breakfast was excellent, again vey clean and the management were extremely helpful and spoke English. Would stay... More

When we looked to book our stay in Quebec City for a wedding, we discovered the weekend was a busy one: 89% of hotels were booked in the old part of the city. We decided to go through Trip Advisor, and via Booking.com we found this lovely little spot right on the ancient wall of the old Quebec and in... More

It was extremely nice having you stay at our hotel and chatting with you at the front desk. The little "balcony" in your room is in fact a fire exit; we do not advertize it as a balcony to avoid creating false expectations of an actual balcony overlooking the street or the city. We are very glad to know you... More
