We loved our room #14 the le Grenier. The bedroom was charming with a stone wall and high ceilings. Comfy chairs and a small desk. The spacious bath had a large glass rain shower with nice towels and toiletries, great vanity with a drawer and magnifying mirror. Nice little touches that I enjoy. They brought an electric kettle for my... More

A pretty hotel right in the prettiest part of old Quebec City. Our room was quaint and original looking, but still had a modern 'boutique hotel' bathroom. We had a two room suite with 2 double beds and a cot (we are a family of 5 , and we were thrilled to find an affordable room that fit us). A... More

Very private, very clean, safe, inviting, and close to all attractions in the old city of Quebec. It is right next to the Notre dame Basilica, petit champlain, curricular, fortification, la citadel, and shops/restaurants. Only downside is the parking that is hard to recognize U.S. credit card.

We stayed in 2 rooms, we decided to extend our trip another night and the staff was wonderful about moving our luggage when it was convenient for us. The location is a side street facing a park next to the Chateau. Behind is the Citadel with lovely grounds to walk in. The only reason we didn't give this review a... More

Stayed in #16 - what a fantastic room... Top floor, so there are some stairs to navigate, but the room should be your first request. Chateau Frontenac is basically in front of the hotel. Excellent location in the upper area, the lower area is easily accessible by the Funicular or '2 feet and a heart beat'. Staff were very courteous... More

This was the perfect inn for my wife, my young adult daughter and me. The staff welcomed us warmly and made us feel at home. They helped us with recommendations for dining and attractions. The room was spacious enough for three and quiet, even though it was right inside the front door and faced the street. The small park just... More

Room 16 on the third floor - best two nights sleep I've had in a long time. It was so quiet. And, we lucked out on parking - there was an open space right in front of the door. Great host, very clean and well kept hotel. And the price was right in line with any other within the Old... More

We stayed in town for just one night so we could explore old Quebec after our stay at L'Hotel de Glace. We were so pleasantly surprised when we arrived at our beautiful hotel and realized it is a block-sized park away from Le Chateau Frontenac! We had views of the water from our hotel's doorstep and this beautiful building so... More

Just returned from a couples' weekend. This is a beautiful old property, hidden behind Chateau Frontenac. The GPS will make you drive through the main entrance to the Chateau to reach Ste-Genevieve street. The property is clean, nicely decorated and you have everything you need. We stayed in Room 3 with the kitchenette so we could make our own breakfasts... More
