If you want to stay in a romantic, comfortable spot that's a two minute stroll from Chateau Frontenac ( at half the price)..., an elegant, turn of the century townhome with a sense of history, then this is the spot. On my last visit to Quebec I stayed at the Hilton, just outside the gates of the old city (and... more

This hotel is very charming, clean, comfortable, close to everything, along with owners that were extremely accomodating. We stayed at the hotel 12-26-08 through 01--02-09. There was 8 of us, all family, in 3 different rooms (one of which was the condo). The owners and the other hotel employees were wonderful and so helpfull. The hotel is located close to... more

Location was excellent. Right beside the Chateau Frontenac and walking distance to all the great spots. We shared a 2 bed unit with friends and it was fine for 2 nights but very small and only one bath. I would recommend that for families travelling with small children. Overall we were happy with the hotel and found the staff very... more

What can I say about this charming hotel? Centrally located? Oui...Comfortable? Oui. Charming? Oui. Small? Oui. Wonderful? Oui. Oui! The location of this hotel is wonderful. You can walk the entire city and still feel like when you are in your room, the world outside is gone! It is clean, quiet, charming, beautiful, comfortable and just an excellent choice for... more

We just returned from a week at Manoir Sur-le-Cap. We stayed in three different rooms because we booked on short notice and it was a very busy week (last week of celebration of 400th anniversary of Quebec). They have free WiFi on the first floor. The Condo (aka: Suite) was very nice, spacious, comfortable. It has a bedroom and bath... more

In July 2008 we stayed at the Manoir for 3 days. This was our second time there (first was 5 years ago). It is a wonderful alternative to the large box chains at a reasonable price. Many varied rooms, with very upscale decor, some are a little small but workable. You cannot beat the location! The service is excellent as... more

Location - Across a park from Chateau Frontenac and just up the block from the river terrace, the location is Manoir Sur le Cap's best feature. Room - We stayed in room #56. The rooms border on charming (it is a historical house, after all), but really they are just old and a bit shabby. Do not expect high quality... more

Nice place, very charming. Hot coffee all the tyme. A reformed house, quite familiar (they gave me a key if I came after 9 PM). Simple, cheap, and with a good jacuzzi. It has an advantage: close to Old Quebec but also near Cartier. Good breakfast with croissants, green apples and oranges. People very easy-going- easy to comunicate. Cheap internet... more

I stayed there on Memorial Day weekend and it couldn't have been better. When we checked in they gave me a better room at the same price. The room over looked the park and had great views of the river and surrounding area. The staff was cheerful and helped us find a place to park. The room was clean and... more

I have stayed at Manoir sur-le-Cap a couple of times, most recently for New Year's 2008, and I think it is a very good choice in the Old City. The price might be a bit above the market for this level of accommodation, but if so, it is not by much, and Quebec is a pretty reasonably priced city anyway.... more
