This hotel has a great location, it is right in the heart of Old Quebec, and walking distance to everything. The parking lot is $22 unfortunately, but we left it there and walked everywhere. Its right by the water, and next to the Chateau Frontenac. There was no breakfast, and our room was very tiny, but it was cute and... More

Very nice little hotel, stayed there 2 nights. Loved the little balcony in my room where I could have coffee in the morning. Very central location yet peaceful. Friendly and helpful staff. Shame they don't serve breakfast...for what you pay they could give you a bit more than just coffee :(

Hello Laura, Thank you for sharing your experience with the trip advisor viewers. We are glad you enjoyed your stay and we appreciate you mentioning our wonderful staff. Please note however that the reason the Hotel does not serve breakfast is that we do not have the space in our hotel for a breakfast room, in order to do so,... More

Skip the traditional choices for staying in Quebec City and choose this absolute gem of a hotel! Situated between the the Governor's Garden and the Citadel, this quaint little hotel offers views of the much busier and more expensive Chateau Frontenac. The staff at the Manoir Sur-le-Cap are bilingual, accommodating and very friendly. We even had an opportunity to meet... More

A fantastic location - just across the park from the massively overpriced Frontenac. Easy to get to everything quickly and it's in a very quiet spot. The staff were friendly and accommodating. My A/C unit was very noisy and was replaced quickly. I stayed in Room 8 and would recommend trying another room if possible, as it was quite small.... More

This is my second time staying here and I must say it is every bit as lovely this time as it was the last. The staff are friendly and accomidating. The cleaning staff efficient and thorough. If you have health problems that woudl not allow steep flights of stairs, be sure to ask for the downstairs, first floor rooms. The... More

We stayed for two nights at this hotel. The room was lovely, spotlessly clean, large, nicely decorated, comfortable with a spectacular view. Loved having the coffee maker for tea and coffee. The staff was pleasant and helpful. Great hot water in the rain shower and a claw foot tub in the room, nice fluffy towels, and yes there are English... More

The hotel is in the perfect location in the heart of old Quebec City. They also offer a $15 parking space just in their "backyard", which makes it very convenient. As a family of 4, we chose the biggest room they had, structured on two floors, single bathroom. The room was spacious and comfortable; very clean. Staff was great, accommodating... More

Thank you for your nice comments, we appreciate you took the time to share your experience. However, please note that the parking in the back is not the property of the hotel (it is our neighbor's parking lot) and has only one space available for our guests. That is why we do not mention it on our website. We hope... More

You can't get any closer to Hotel Frontenac, the Governor's Terrace, and the Citadel without paying for the Frontenac. We stayed in the front room with 2 beds for us and our small children. Downside was that this was right on the the street, so whether windows are open or closed, you hear anyone outside walking or driving by. Ultimately,... More

This boutique style hotel is located just steps from the Chateau Frontenac and the St. Lawrence. Within easy walking distance to all the sights and sounds of "old" Quebec City but without the prohibitive costs ,. Our room was small, but had all the amenities needed (even a personal Kuerig brewer). Would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay... More

We loved our room #14 the le Grenier. The bedroom was charming with a stone wall and high ceilings. Comfy chairs and a small desk. The spacious bath had a large glass rain shower with nice towels and toiletries, great vanity with a drawer and magnifying mirror. Nice little touches that I enjoy. They brought an electric kettle for my... More
