My boyfriend and I just got home from a wonderful trip to Quebec City. We really enjoyed our stay at Le Saint-Paul. The staff were warm, friendly and accomodating. We were amazed at how perfectly situated this hotel was! The location really couldn't have been better. We were within a short walk from the best shopping districts, fabulous restaurants (we... more

Excellent experience, terrific value for this charming hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful at checkin. Parking was conveniently located in lot across the street for $11 CAN a day. Room was clean and comfortable with cable television and pleasant decor. A boot tray inside the door was a nice touch during winter. We stayed on the third floor with a... more

This was our first trip to Quebec, which was hastily thrown together after Hurricane Ivan forced a change of plans. Hotel St.Paul seems to have been recently renovated, and the hotel was appealing and clean. It was situated within walking distance of most of the popular attractions. The positives far outweigh the negatives. The room was reasonably priced, the staff... more

I actually stayed at the St. Paul last New Year's. I've just gotten around to writing a review. The hotel is wonderful. We stayed in a beautiful room with an exposed brick wall. There was plenty of space in the room for all of our bags and ski gear! The bathroom was well kept. In fact, it seemed to be... more

This hotel was cute. The staff was nice, but not extremely helpful. The room was very small and the view was of a gas station. This hotel was near the city and all the sites, but downhill, which ment a lot of uphill walking. Breakfast at the resturant was VERY good. more

We stayed here during the Winter Carnival in January. The rooms were large and clean. The hotel itself is well situated and only a short (uphill) walk to the major sites. Overall, we thought that it was very good value for money and have recommended it to friends. more

My husband and I just returned from a stay at the Hotel St Paul to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. We chose the package with gourmet dinner at Le Continental resaturant. The hotel itself is spectacular from the outside, although the hallways and rooms were a bit worn. The front desk staff was absolutely charming and so helpful. The hotel,... more

Staying here was a joy! I spent a week in Quebec City with My Mother. We were given a room that was spacious, secure and very comfortable. Twin Beds with a private bath with shower. (Very clean)The room had a brick fireplace(sealed) and the wall it is on is exposed brick. The room had one large French doored window. A large armoire... more

We found this hotel very good, reasonably priced and ideally situated in walking distance from everything you might want. Our room was lovely, very quiet and clean. We did not, however, think much of the adjoining restaurant. The score given reflects the hotel not the restaurant. The restaurant is very cramped and to be fair it was busy but it... more

This little gem sits outside the walls of old-town Quebec, in a neighborhood of antique shops and cafes. It's nice because you can escape some of the touristy areas of the City, yet be close to everything. The room we stayed in wasn't huge, but simple and nearly elegant. The only negative would be that just about everything is uphill.... more
