We stayed here for a week in August 2008 during Quebec's 400th Anniversary! The hotel was very clean, the room was very luxurious, the restaurant on the bottom floor is very nice and we did eat there on three occasions however, it is a bit pricey in comparison to other options just a minute or two away. The room and... more

The rooms were a bit small, but it made up for it by having a nice location not far from the old town, a comfortable bed, a nice sized bathroom (very long tub!) and a sort of old world rustic feel with some of the brick showing, and what seems to be the original windows, which were at least as... more

This hotel is very well located in Old Quebec. If you arrive by car, you can park (for a fee) right across the street. Our room on the third floor was clean and had a large enough bathroom. Charming room? No. The check-in counter in the small reception area was chipped. The breakfast at the Veravin restaurant was allright. If... more

I'm a bit ambivalent about this hotel - some features were outstanding, while others were drawbacks. First the rooms - very plain/average. Recent renovations were obvious, but seem to have been applied haphazardly. There were lovely new sinks and faucets set into dingy old countertops in the bathroom. Likewise, a shiny new acrylic tub, attached to the battered old tiles... more

We stayed on the 3rd floor with a view of a busy intersection and the market across the street. Our room was nice with a large bath. I really liked the 3rd floor windows which almost went to the floor. They had a European flair to them as does the whole hotel. There was a municipal parking lot very near... more

We got a room on the 3rd floor, facing the street. The room was large enough for two people, but nothing special at the price charged. The hotel looked like it was recently renovated – everything was very clean and looked new. This hotel is located a short 10 min walk from the center of old Quebec –(it’s an uphill... more

This hotel is in a wonderful location! A short walk to lower Quebec City, where there are tons of cute shops! The service at the hotel was very helpful and the rooms were impeccable! We had a bed and breakfast deal and it was fabulous, the food was good..some of the wait staff weren't very nice but..that did not bother... more

We visited Quebec City in May. My sister and I took the trip up from Ottawa/Montreal by train and met my Aunt and Uncle from New Brunswick. The folks are in their late 70's and it was a reuinion of sorts for the 2 brothers. The hotel is walking distance from the train station and several restaurants in the area.... more

My husband and I enjoyed a five night stay at the Hotel Le Saint Paul in July. The hotel is quite small, but it is lovely. We were on the second floor with a view out the back of the building onto a street and some other buildings. The amenities were nice but nothing extraordinary--the bed was comfortable, the room... more

We stayed at the St. Paul in Oct for our honeymoon and we were very disapointed. There are nicer hotels for about the same amt of money. The hotel was under construction and was very noisy rooms were clean but very basic. more
