I don't understand how this hotel has a boutique 5 star rating Not only is it dark and dinghy but the rooms are so minimalistic that you have nowhere to place 2 suitcases We found three different rooms where in fact the closet doors did not even shut correctly This hotel does not even provide complementary water in your room... We stayed here May of 2014 and found the staff friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and modern with great amenities. This hotel also had a very nice restaurant attached that we ate breakfast at every morning. The food was good and reasonably priced. Parking is across the street where we paid a modest 10$ a day. The... More

Room was very comfortable, clean , great location, great view. Bathroom was big, huge bathtub, but shower very small and awkward with shower head on top not on side. Toilet paper hard to reach, behind not on the side. Closet tiny, very limited to hang anything in it. Mini refridgerator was suppose to be included in the room, but didn't have... More

The Hotel Le Saint-Paul is suited at the old port in the pittoresque street Saint-Paul. We had a spacious, clean and pretty newly furnitured room on the top floor with view over the port and market hall. The breakfast is served and not buffet-style like in most hotels. But that's definitely a plus as the breakfast tastes delicious. When arriving... More

This hotel has trendy rooms in an old building. Location is very convenient, near the train/bus station and within a short walk of the Old Town and the old port. There are restaurants and shops on the same street. The room had a comfortable bed, a nice bathroom, free toiletries, reliable hot water, and a coffee machine. It was nice... More

The staff here were very nice and spoke English very well. The room was clean and very comfortable with a desk, wifi, and nice view out the windows of the market and boat docks. Breakfast was included. There were several choices on the menu including a mushroom omelet, crepes, and bagels with cream cheese. We chose the omelet a few... More

Do not judge hotel by the exterior, nothing spectacular. However, the room was incredible. Ultra modern. Hotel bathroom had a soaker jacuzzi tub with a view of the city out the window, rain shower, spacious, side jets and a handle, big vanity. King size bed very comfortable, closets, shelving, spacious work area, fridge, I could go on and on. Efficient... More

Hotel is a few minutes walk from the train station and lower town. It is a well maintained hotel with great in room facilities(coffee maker and huge TV). Staff are very helpful and the breakfast served in the on site restaurant are very good. It's the little touches that make this hotel stand out from the standard chains.

Close to Old Quebec, very quiet, parking across the street, and a great breakfast (mushroom omlette). Only problem was the ac blew on us at night so it would get very cold for a bit and then warm up when it went off.

We spent three nights here the end of May. The hotel is of the European style in a historic old building which is what you would expect in Old Town. There are three floors of rooms above the one at street level. The upper floor is fitted around the gables and windows so they may odd shaped. They are reasonable... More
