The staff was absolutely wonderful and was able to help us even though our French was not perfect. The salt water pool was not huge but was never crowded as my wife and I swam for over an hour with the pool to ourselves. Sauna was very nice as well. We booked two economy rooms at Chateau Laurier. The first was a very small room on the second floor (259) overlooking the A/C equipment. The machinery was within arm's reach of the window & very noisy. Enjoyed the perfect location and beautiful views of the hotel which is nestled between the old part of town, bustling Grande Allée and the Plains of Abraham.
