Check in was quick and smooth. We stayed on an upper floor no real view to speak of. Beds ok. Stinks in hallways getting to room. Nice location close to downtown walking distance to most. Would not stay again there are better newer locations to stay.

! ! 2014 Quebec Winter Carnival Our YMCA group from Bar Harbor Maine, USA has stayed at the Hotel Chateau Laurier for the past two Quebec Winter Carnivals. The Laurier is not just a hotel. The Laurier is a home away from home. The staff at the reception center was very welcoming. Our rooms were well appointed and immaculate. The... More

I have stayed at this hotel a couple of times on business trips. The location is terrific: across from the National Assembly on the Grande-Allée, so within easy walking distance of the old town and also close to the host of restaurants on the Grande-Allée. This makes the lack of a restaurant in the hotel itself a little easier to... More

The location of the hotel is superb to visit Quebec city. I stayed for 2 nights and both facilities and staff were quite good, and worth the rates. The room was big, well decorated and the beds were large. The access to the swimming-pool after the rooms is a sympathy. We are almost invited to use all the facilities, considering... More

I stayed in the hotel for 4 nights. My room was always well cleaned and Marie Rose Ukeye was a delightful person. She paid particular attention to detail and insisted upon making things just so in the room and ensuring that I was well taken care of. I hope that the management takes note of her extra effort.

The staff is helpful and cheerful. The rooms are well appointed but tight. Ours did not have a mini fridge. The view of the street was beautiful at night, as the buildings across the way were colourfully lit. Downside: a bit of a maze to get from the lobby, to the room elevator area and to the parking elevator. You... More

I stayed 2 nights for business at the Hotel Chateau Laurier and had a great experience. It appears that there are older rooms and newer rooms. I stayed in a newer room. It's very modern, very clean and decorated in pretty soft browns and blue. The shower is fabulous, the bed, sheets and pillows were very comfortable, the towel are... More

Stayed here for three nights for a business conference. The hotel itself is good. A nice location, it's about a 15 minute walk to old quebec, lots of great restaurants right on the same street which is wonderful, the staff at the front desk were great. The hotel room was standard, clean however it is extremely dry at this hotel... More

The price was right, and we preferred not being in the center of a too busy old town, but instead walking distance to all part of the city old and new. It's a beautiful hotel in a great local, and the room was clean, but the alleged "view" of the river that we paid extra for (they reimbursed us when... More

Bonjour Vinca J, Thank you for your comment. Very sorry to read you did not appreciate the view on the Plaines of Abraham. The river is the secondary aspect but to my point of view the South shore is nice on a clear day from the 6 and 7 floor. We hope you will come back to our lovely city.... More
