We stayed three nights in this very comfortable, centrally-located hotel. The rooms in the Grand Allee section seemed a bit smaller. The depanneur (convenience store) was handy and offered a quick exit onto the Grand Allee. I had been curious about St. Hubert chicken restaurants (ubiquitous in Quebec) so we sampled the attached version. It was somewhat similar to Swiss... More

We stayed 4 days at Chateau Laurier, and found it to be conveniently located. Hotel room was large, and the staff was very helpful. Parking was available at the hotel for $20 a day, which isn't too bad. Free wi-fi. The outdoor cafe has a great view of the pedestrian parade on the Grande Allee.

My sister in law recommended this hotel to us since she had stayed at the hotel on business trips a few years ago. The hotel overlooks the Plains of Abraham & Grande Allee. We booked a room in the new section of the hotel called "Les Plaines". The room was a spacious with a beautiful king sized bed, view of... More

With a group of forty people, most of them over the age of fifty, we stayed at the Hotel Chateau Laurier August 6th-11th. The rooms were varied in size and configuration which reminded us of a European hotel. All of the the rooms were very clean and comfortable. All of the services that one would expect at a top hotel... More

Stayed for 4 days. Great experience. Clean rooms, attentive friendly staff, and perfect location. Comfortable bed, crisp linens, and quiet rooms. Helpful concierge, and functional weight room. Didn't eat the hotel restaurant but its a popular Quebec chain. Do upgrade to a superior / king bedroom, and request a plains room. Well worth it. We would stay again.

As being a 4-starred hotel we expected a bit more. The rooms are quite simple and does not offer any significant extra value. The coffee maker was put in the bathroom due to no having enough space on the bedroom. Also, the pool area is near a corridor so at the end is not a calm place to do some... More

It's called a Chateau, but there are several sections of the hotel connected by passageways and elevators, so we did not get that "old world" feel. Rather, the experience was similar to a contemporary hotel chain. Since there were three of us, we stayed in a room with 2 double beds. Fortunately, it was located in a newer part of... More

This hotel was a perfect fit for us. We wanted a nice old hotel within walking distance to old Quebec. It was perfect. It is right on a vibrant street with restaurants and coffee shops and micro breweries. Good for all ages. The only disappointment was that the pool was small and always crowded and noisy.

Excellent location, and romantic place to stay with your love. Street with many restaurants, night life and near one of the largest park of Quebec, good place to spend your time, enjoying the city full of history, good food and poutine.

I have only good things to say about the hotel; Wonderful and pleasant staff, fluent in English and in French, of course. We got updated room, which was an average size, but clean and comfortable. My kids used the pool, which is clean and a good size for a hotel in the middle of the city. Very conveniently located, steps... More
