I was there for a conference and found a bed bug at midnight on my first night there. Obviously disgusted, I called down to the receptionist to inform her of the situation and request a room change. She sent me to another smaller room and even older-looking than the one I was in (did not look very hygienic). I asked... More

Chateau Laurier was not a surprise because I checked on Trip Advisor among some hotels close or inside Old Quebec. The price was reasonable. I stayed with my family in a quadruple room and it was spacious enough for the four of us and all our luggage. It was winter, first week of January 2012 and the heating was fine.... More

I went there with my girlfriend and we stayed for 2 nights. Great service, comfy rooms and great location. A 5 minutes walk from the Portes St-Jean, so it's perfect to spend some time in Old Quebec. We really enjoyed it, good value for the price. I went back a year after with my family. The pool is quite small,... More

The price was pretty good, but there were tons of little problems that left us feeling like it was not worth it. The Good: -Concierge and bell staff were very helpful, friendly, attentive, and fast. The quality of those members of the staff were high above the rest of our experience - way better than this hotel deserved. -location is... More

As a first time visitor to Quebec City I was blown away by the beauty of the city. The Chateau Laurier was a clean, quiet, comfortable hotel in a very central location. I found the staff to be helpful and friendly, overall the service level was top notch. The one small thing that I did not care for was the... More

Stayed here two week ago on an overnight business trip. There are two sections to this hotel and I was in the older one, as it was a last minute booking. The hallway and elevator were really close to my room but I did not hear a thing when my door was closed, despite there being some sort of meeting... More

Chateau Laurier is very strict about the no-show policy. We were dinged $195, no negotiation. Our oversight for not cancelling in time, yet our daughter was booked (and did show) in a separate room for 4 nights. That didn't factor... very disappointing. More

We had reservations at the Chateau Laurier for saturday November 12, we were a group of dairy farmers and industry travelling from the Royal Winter Fair in Toronto on our way home to New Brunswick. Our rooms were all pre arranged and paid for well in advance and one of the highlights was to stay at the Chateau laurier on... More

This is a really lovely hotel surrounded by great restaurants, a moment's walk to the Parliament buildings and just a little further to the old city. We had a standard room with king bed room which was very spacious with tasteful furniture, air conditioning and a large bathroom. No bar fridge however. The room was very quiet, even though we... Stayed overnight in summer of 2010, No reservation was no problem that night. Opted for the upgraded room for a small supplement, and it was well worth the extra. Spacious and modern room, very stylish. Located in walking distance to Old Quebec and a ton of great restaurants. More
