Chateau Laurier is very strict about the no-show policy. We were dinged $195, no negotiation. Our oversight for not cancelling in time, yet our daughter was booked (and did show) in a separate room for 4 nights. That didn't factor... very disappointing.

Stayed overnight in summer of 2010, No reservation was no problem that night.
Opted for the upgraded room for a small supplement, and it was well worth the extra.
Spacious and modern room, very stylish. Located in walking distance to Old Quebec and a ton of great restaurants.
