Went to Quebec with some friends for Winter Carnival and this was an excellent location. It was about 1 block from the entrance to Carnival, 2 blocks from old Quebec, and there were a dozen bars and restaurants to choose from right on the same street as the hotel. The hotel staff was helpful and courteous and the rooms were... More

My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights during the winter Carnival this year. Check in with Maxine was great. She was friendly and knowledgable and an excellent worker. We were originally assigned room 469 in the Grand Allee section. This seemed to be a handicap accessible room. It was spacious. The bed was very low though. First night... More

Convenient location within close walking distance to the old city, the Plaines of Abraham, the Parliament and in the heart of all the Carnaval activities. Ongoing construction across the street was noisy, but so were we! (travelling with a group). The pool was small but seemed nice, the hot tub could have used a good scrub. All in all, a... More

Hotel Chateau Laurier is adequate, but not much more. It has all the charm of an economy hotel at the price of something better. The interior is newly renovated and modern, but with cheap material and econolodge styling. The low-end materials are still off-gassing, filling the rooms with the smell of cheap carpeting. It is reminiscent of a Holiday Inn... More

My first time in Canada was a visit to Quebec City, and we stayed for a long weekend. We didn't know much about where to stay, so we picked Chateau Laurier. We had a perfectly acceptable stay here, and would recommend it to others. We arrived from the States and parked in the underground garage below the building. The garage... More

Came here with family because i found a great price online. Firstly this hotel is huge, lots of underground passage way to direct yourself in the many various parts of the hotel. The rooms the vieux quebec region of the hotel are small, very very small (european standards im guessing), very plain looking and minimalistic decor, small flat screen, few... More

I had heard of this hotel and thus was excited to try it. Must conclude that it's the CL in Ottawa that people rave about, not this one. Rooms weren't cheap but were nice. The hotel is located in a good, downtown area right next to the winter carnival site - but also next to noisy construction that starts early... More

Hotel Chateau Laurier is a touch of luxury in beautiful Old Quebec. The King-Size rooms are spacious and comfortable, the outlook as you would expect for the centre of town, and you are, of course, close to the charm of bustling central Quebec.

We chose this hotel because of it's proximity to the Winter Carnival. The hotel was very nice with clean, modern rooms and great service. It was the perfect location for the Winter Carnival. It is also only a block from one of the main streets with tons of bars and restaurants and only a short walk from the old town.... More

We stayed at the Chateau Laurier, Quebec as part of our grandson's hockey tournament group. We were not sure what to expect, and were pleasantly surprised. We received a friendly greeting at reception and experienced a quick trouble free checkin. The bellman was cheerful and unloaded the bags from the car and took them to our room while I parked...
