Great location. Easy to walk around old quebec and stop in for a rest in the afternoon before going out again at night. A simple breakfast was included, but it was good and made it easy to get going in the morning. Staff spoke good English so it was easy to communicate. They were helpful whenever we asked a question.... More

We arrived at the inn around noon and unfortunately couldn't drop the bags in the room as we were too early. The staff courteously offered to hold our bags for us, but the area wasn't secured and I didn't feel like leaving my bag containing my computer in an unlocked area. We padded back to the parking and locked it... More

Very good location for the old city. Parking at nearby hotel not a problem. Very friendly host who provided us with cold drinks. Asian restaurant is worth trying as well. We had an excellent meal there.

The Auberge La Chouette is a lovely little hotel in just the right place. Central to pretty much everything you would want to see in the old section of Quebec City, this hotel is a very good choice for your stay. The room we had was nice and overlooked the street where the horse and carriages clopped by to their... More

I recommend you this hotel as it is in the center of Quebec (old town). It is a little bit expensive but it worth it. The rooms are spacious, beautiful, clean. The service is also very nice. The only issue is that the hotel doesn't have elevator. But it is something common in old hotels in Canadá :)

A lovely little boutique hotel just inside the gates of Old Quebec City. You can fall asleep listening to the sounds of the horses on the cobblestones outside. Parking is available ($15.00) close by. Breakfast is $2 (toast, juice and coffee). Definitely a nice place to stay. No elevator, so careful what you have to carry up!

I wasn't sure whether to book this hotel at first, mainly because it didn't look so good in pictures. But what a great surprise! We had a lovely view of the park, the room was big and stylish, with lots if natural light, and the bathroom was brand new. The staff was very friendly, too!

We booked this lovely hotel in early January for a conference we were attending. We are very happy we went with the Auberge La Chouette instead of the conference hotel (the Hilton), which cost $40 more a night and did not include free internet or breakfast. The family who operates the hotel is so nice and spoke enough English for... More

Great location in old Quebec. Room was clean and looked as though it was recently painted. But was a bit disappointed. Our room faced the front Street which is paved with cobblestones. This street gets very busy at 6:30 in the morning and the noise from the cars going over the stones had us up early every morning. The drapes... More

We stayed for two nights in this lovely old auberge perfectly located in the old city. Parked the car and never moved it again until we left! Walked everywhere--to shops, cafes and restaurants, the Citadel. The inn is directly across the street from a park, so the view is always green and, with the exception of the hoof beats of... More
