My second time at the HOTEL DE GLACE in Qc. DO pay the extra to get a special room with a theme. We were lucky to have room 10. The Avalanche ! ouf ! What a place ! Magical ! Candles and Blue lights... and the impression of being in an avalanche. And DO go in the spa before bed... More

My son and I drove up from Drummondville and had a nice afternoon touring the hotel. Our tour guide, who spoke English, was able to give us a lot of facts about the hotel and he had a great sense of humor. Although we did not stay at the hotel, I would like to go back and spend one night.... More

As everyone says....this place is beautiful. I do have mixed feelings though on how it is managed. From the moment we arrived at the entrance building untill we eventually checked in at the Celsius Pavillion we were totally confused and the staff were not overly helpful. With your accommodation you are given a voucher for one free cocktail at the... More

The staff that work here are amazing and make it feel like home. I was so nervous due to the really old weather and winter storm here in Quebec BUT very quickly trough the briefing our initial concerns were taken away. Staying overnight in a theme room is highly recommended by us. It cost us a little extra before coming... More

Gorgeous doesn't do this place justice. This hotel is at least once in a life time experience. It's one of those places that either your jaw is dropped the entire time or you have your hand on your camera. The details on the carvings on the walls, the sculptures, the ice bar and glasses, the chapel, the themed rooms, just... More

We were a little disappointed as the place was open but obviously not finished and still a construction zone. We pre-purchased fast track tickets off the website but when we arrived there is no fast track queue so you still need to queue up. We promised our little one a ride on the ice slide (as per the hoteldeglace-canada.com website)... More

First of all, bundle up. And I mean, way more than you think you'll need. This place is COLD...and, if you get a wild hair like we did, and find yourself on the ice slide, you'll want some extra padding because a frozen bum when it's below 0 is no fun. This place is incredible. We did not stay here... More

We were there in January and had the best time. The hotel itself is specatular and the staff were very friendly. We enjoyed the ability to take a hot shower and catch a snack in the heated building, but also enjoyed sleeping in the room (after a very helpful orientation on how to prepare to sleep in a room made... A very unique experience. It's expensive, but it's a truly beautiful creation. My partner and I stayed there with a 2-night package - one night in the ice hotel and the other at the lodge and we felt it was well worth it. The package allowed us to use the facilities as well, to cross country ski, hike, sled, etc.... More

My husband and I splurged for our 38th wedding anniversary, and stayed a night in this hotel made entirely of ice and snow. :) It was very, very cool--in more ways than the obvious. We enjoyed having the hotel grounds rather private. It was made available to only those spending the night. It had been very crowded during the day,... More
