Went the first weekend in january. Great experience the only thing as it was first week it was still being built. Was woken at 2am by a buzz saw in the next room. Theme suite a lot more spacious. The fireplace you cant see as you are lieing down But it is a bigger room. The hot tub first keeps... More

we had a short visit on a sunny but cold day in march, 2015. short because our fingers were painfully numb after trying to take a few photos. the idea of staying overnight as extensively described by our tour guide only convinced me that there are two kinds of people on this globe: death-defying masochists, and the rest of us!... We visited on the first weekend in March 1015. My husband purchased as a Christmas gift. He used Travel Zoo. We had booked it for Monday but due to a work emergency needed to change it. We were told here was a substantial fee for changing the night. Ok a little ridiculous but it was our fault so we bit... More

I had many fears about staying at an ice hotel, and .... they were all were founded. You are basically sleeping in an ice sculpture. It is a beautiful ice sculpture, with clever and exciting designs, and is worth a day visit, but anything you gain from staying overnight can be gained by a much cheaper, rewarding and warm experience... My family and I visited Quebec in January and we couldn't pass the opportunity to go see Hotel de Glace. Wow, what a gorgeous scenery. Buildings are gracious, each room is filled with creativity and beauty. the hole atmosphere there is like you are on the carnival, lifelong fiesta. Totally worth the drive and admission.

This place is breathe taking and the people who work there are beyond nice and friendly. They have a cafe but not a wide variety of food. Sleep was horrible but what do you expect in a ice hotel. Would highly recommend for adventurous people. But if you would prefer to not sleep in the cold you can take a... More

Fun things to do -- snoe shoeing ($), tasty maple treats ($), inside ice slide (free), outside slide on a tube. Take the tour and learn about the construction of this amazing building, photograph your favorite rooms, and sit for a minute in silence in the chapel. Thirsty? Grab a drink at the bar! Yes, your drink is no longer... More

This was a birthday gift from my wife. What was she thinking?? Palm trees and golf is what I am accustomed to!!! But seriously, glad I did this. The staff are very concerned that one enjoys ( and Survives)this experience to the extent that one has to sit through a 20 minute lecture and how one gets ready for bed!!... More

Incredible experience for adventurers only. Be prepare to be uncomfortable through the night, to say the least, but have the experience of your life. The majority of the rooms presents a different carving, that is brought to life by LEDs lights... The bar is a surreal experience: not only the lights, the music but the drinks that are served in... Beautiful rooms, pricey, but wonderful for a romantic get away. Don't however expect to be able to cuddle up to your loved one as the provided individual cold weather sleeping bags are definitely required. Sadly by 8:30 in the morning the showers in the main area were running cold. Surely at that price hot water shouldn't become a rare commodity.... More
