If you are going to Quebec City for the Carnival, You MUST drop by the Hotel de Glacé!! It WILL BE one of the high light of your trip, incredible and awesome. If you have the time and budget, stay one night, the experience is outstanding. Have a drink in your ice glasses, and walk the snowshoe trial

As an architectural wonder, this place is amazing! By all means go and enjoy the sights of this one of a kind ice hotel. Just don't go expecting a good night's sleep. The ice hotel is well described in many other reviews, so I won't repeat. I've rated the hotel as five stars, mainly for the unique architecture. The overnight... More

I guess it takes a special person who would go and spend the night in a hotel that is made out of ice and snow . I guess that would be what my family would be! Because they always go along with my crazy ideas. Preparing for the cold is the key to being able to enjoy a trip like... More

This is truly a hotel made of ice and snow. Be sure to read their preparation guide so that you can be comfortable and safe when you go!. The rooms are open from 9am-9pm to the public. You store your suitcases in the building where you check in (and the heated bathrooms/showers and restaurants are.) Sleeping was actually very cozy... More

Recently spent a night at ice hotel. Hotel 15 minutes outside city so took taxi there from old town which was $35 each way. You are permitted to arrive as early as 3 pm but we chose to arrive after dinner which was the right thing to do since food services there are mediocre and there really isn't all that... More

Cool place, the structures are beautiful and impressive.. but the commom space feels like an interior public pool. You cant really stay in your room during the night and more than 20-30 minutes in the spas so the common interior space really needs To be redecorated-rethought. The bar loooks good but horrible choice of music (bloodhound gang really???) There are... More

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary weekend (just one night). The hotel is beautiful. We were given a tour where the guide explained how everything was made. It's especially pretty at night with the lights. We were lucky enough to have a light snowfall during our time there which made it more magical. For guests staying overnight,... More

At first we thought the hotel was the one that is actually at Carnival, however we learned that the ice palace is where Bonhomme lives, not the actual ice palace. The Hotel De Glacé was a 15 minute drive from the carnival and costs $18 for adults. It is worth it especially for your first time which is what it... More

We went there for the tour. It takes 30 minutes to explain and walk around with the host. They explain the history of the hotel the glass and how the foundation was made, it is impressive to see all the works for the decoration and the sculptures inside. The rooms are very nice with a different theme and arrangement each... More
