A once in a lifetime experience! The hotel is absolutely amazing! Add it to your bucket list! Picture don't do this place justice! My husband and I took our 3 children ages 15, 14 & 12 and rented a theme suite for the night. We were fortunate to get the Princess Suite which was designed by Disney's artists to look... More

My wife and I had been toying with the idea of staying at an Ice Hotel since we lived in Scandinavia. After moving to Canada we thought we had to finally try it. We are so glad we did. The price is very high but it is a unique and memorable experience. We went for the package that included a... More

This was the most amazing experience in an incredible engineering marvel of an ice structure. My husband and I slept a full 10 hours - the best sleep we've had in years. We were very warm and cozy in our Arctic mummy bags, provided by the hotel. The 4 foot thick walls insulated the rooms so effectively that we heard... More

My wife and I were given an overnight from our kids for Christmas! We had a blast! It is a amazing place, amazing sculptures, the experience is awesome. Come prepared and you can really enjoy yourself, we are skiers so we have the proper clothes. We met 3 great couples, enjoyed the bar , activities, and the hot tub. My... More

Went to the ice hotel for the afternoon, I thought we would be there for an hour or so and ended up there for 4 hours. My son discovered the tube slide out along the snowshoe trails. He tells me he and daddy now hold the record for the most runs in one day and the most runs that went... More

What a cool experience! Just checked off one of my bucket list. I am not sure I will want to stay a night here but it was a nice visit for a few hours. Go spend $4 for a drink of soda in a glass made of ice. And don't forget to drop the ice glass into its special 're-cycle'... More

This is an amazing place to visit, and well worth the time and money. Personally, I have no interest in the staying there, just visiting and exploring. We traveled as two families of four with two couples each with kids ranging from 8 to 12. After some research from websites and other sources, here is what I found useful to... More

Looking for something extra to do in Quebec City when you are visiting during the winter? Then this has to be on your itinerary along with winter activities such as skiing, snow boarding, ice skating and ice fishing, plus the many other usual sight seeing opportunities available in and around the city. A great location as only just outside the... More

I think the issue that many people have with Hotel de Glace is that the word "hotel" is in the name and as such they expect a hotel-like experience. It is not a hotel experience, much more of a high-end camping one. We had signed up for the option to go snow tubing and snow shoeing, which I would highly... More

They advertise a family ticket for $45, but it is only good for 3 kids 12 and under! We ended up paying more than TWICE AS MUCH: $93 for 2 adults and our children (8, 13, 15 and 16). Absolute rip-off and not worth the money.
