A once in a lifetime experience! Bought the room on Groupon. Had to pay for an upgrade when I booked as they were sold out of the standard rooms. Glad we did! Spending the night in a themed suite made for a more memorable experience. And gave you something to look at as you lay awake at night! Follow the... More

Think carefully before booking. Unfortunately I can't write a review about the property because we never made it to Quebec City. My husband came down with the flu before we left. I'm writing about their cancellation policy which is absurd! 60 days before travel is the only option and how can you know that in 60 days you will be... More

Words and photos can't do justice to what is really a magical marvel. And actually falling asleep on a clear ice bed, tucked into a surprisingly warm sleeping bag, in a -5 celcius room made entirely of snow and ice is both unique, memorable and surprisingly fun! We splurged for a theme room with fireplace. Kudos to the artistry and... More

ice hotel was pure cold,,, great sculptures throughout.. just as its theme promotes. Fun to have done it once,... The tube slide off to the side of the place was not lite so it was only available 10am-4pm( not paralleling the time overnight guests would be at the place). If it could have been incorporated a bit more into the... More

We stayed for one night on January 19th. For any restless souls out there who think one night is not enough, let me assure you - it is definitely enough, and perhaps even more than enough for some folks. The reason being simple: it is cold. Roaming around the hotel during the day/evening is fine, although we were wearing full... More

Beautiful ice sculptures, some of the theme rooms were really magical. We spent a lot of time taking pictures all over the place. At 9 all the visitors were out and the hotel was for overnight guests only. You don't want to go to bed early, but other than the spa there is not much to do. There is a... More

We stayed at the Ice Hotel 2 years ago - was very skeptical but checked in and they issued us a sleeping bag that was good down to 40 below F. We toured the Ice Hotel, sat in the bar and had a drink out of an "ice" glass and then checked into our ice bed room. The bed was... More

The ice sculptures are spectacular! Staff was friendly and helpful especially at the welcome center. The bar serves most drinks in glasses made of ice. If you want seconds keep your glass and the second drink is $2 less. Remember you don't want to have to use the "facilities" in the middle of the night so don't over imbibe. We... More

Great tourist attraction. Easy to get to by bus and if you have the Québec city bus pass, you get 2,00 $ of the regular rate. They also have a student rate. Great place to visit and get a real fill of northern winter. Beautifully sculpted. Worth a visit. They have a cafeteria and a small sugar schak.

I visited this amazing place on January 30, 2014. It takes 15 minutes by car and maximum an hour by bus from quebec city. Look around the hotel with ice carvings and sculptures. The creations made out of ice and the carvings on the wall were absolutely breath taking. The individual themed bedroom designs are fantastic, too, it feels as... More
