We had a really great experience at this hotel. The service was top notch and the guy at the front desk was really helpful and polite. Service from all the staff members was top notch. The room looked modern. Clean as expected. The bed was confortable and the room was really quiet. We were located near the elevator and I... More

Wonderful experience as always when visiting the Germain group. Modern and well maintained, staff is friendly and courteous. Comfortable beds, free wi-fi, easily accessible. Great restaurant downstairs: le Bistango.

Hotel with a great location, close to shopping district and to University Laval. The staff is simply amazingly nice and helpful. The Restaurant attached to the hotel (Le Bistango) is one of the nicest tables I had a chance to experience in Quebec City for that kind of price range. The only thing missing is a Gym on the premises... More

We stay at the ALT Quebec every year to break up a 10 hour trip out to the Gaspe. The hotel is easily accessible as you enter the city, located about twenty minutes from the historic section. (A cab ride downtown cost $28). The hotel offers convenient parking adjacent to the entrance, or in a garage below. The adjacent restaurant... More

A little further off the highway, beside the St Foy shopping centre, would be a fun stay for a couple. Close to downtown and shopping, restaurants a short walk away. Pet friendly, but the cat found an awkward hiding space under the sink and we almost lost it. The room and layout was too small for the wheelchair, but it... More

This hotel is well located across from Place Ste-Foy, a major shopping mall, and many restaurants. The rooms are cozy, beds very comfortable and working area pleasant. A good choice for anyone on a business trip in Sainte-Foy. A 10-minute drive from the train station.

To visit Quebec City in the height of winter means frigid temperatures and harsh arctic winds. However, the staff warmly welcomed us to the Alt Hotel, our base for the weekend to enjoy the last days of Carnaval 2015, and as a getaway for Valentine's Day. Although not nestled into the heart of Vieux-Quebec, the access was quite easy both... More

Dear SMO2015, We thank you for your visit at our hotel and are pleased to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us. Indeed, it is a frigid winter in Quebec City. But i am glad to hear that our team provided you some warmth during your stay! Kind regards, Étienne Breault More

The Alt tries hard to stand out, and mostly succeeds. The Quebec City property is on a street replete with hotels. From the lobby to the guest rooms and bathrooms, there is some funky decor, unusual layout of rooms (such as some open cubic space, high ceilings, and non-plain draperies). Comfy bed, enough space to spread out a bit. Not... More

i stayed at the ALT hotel for 3 nights on a business trip. Excellent location - near the University, next to three large malls in the St. Foy area.Every thing you need is close by. Excellent (but expensive restaurant) at the hotel and excellent trendy Sky Spa next building. Rooms are small but functional. Have been in the one in... More

I stayed at the ALT hotel for 2 weeks on a business trip. I enjoyed my hotel stay primarily because of the friendly staff and its location next to three large malls in the St. Foy area. Everything was of good quality and their was great Wi-Fi that was complementary which always make business travel much easier. It was a... More
