This was a very comfortable, quiet, clean place for our family to spend Christmas and explore the city. Excellent location and the hosts are very helpful. Loved the continental breakfast with wonderful croissants and good strong coffee! There was also a place for us to park our car during our three day stay. Our room did have a nice view... More

..but value for money means that you pay only a fraction of the place in the city center and get a well located place. On the other hand the value of this place is only the place and the reasonable price. The rooms are outdated, bathroom most of the time on the hallway and the breakfast is unloving. Here that... We wanted a place close to all the destinations in the old city that was affordable, clean, and comfortable -- this was it. The owners were also very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was just more perfect to start the day.

My husband and l stayed here overnight night before joining a cruise and would highly recommend this place. While this is hotel is older, it is centrally located in old Quebec city to eateries and points of interests within walking distance and is quite clean. It is reasonably priced too with a great breakfast. The owners kept refilling the platters... More

This hotel is right by the ramparts that fortified the city and also overlooks the port. The owners are incredibly friendly and get five stars for customer service. We loved our stay here and ended up staying an extra night. You can walk to everything from here. The rooms are quite small, but then again, we don't normally spend a... More

Bonjour Adirondack_woman, Thank you very much for sharing your lovely review. We are glad you enjoyed our location as well as friendly staffs. Such comment that give us the pride and joy to continue the good work after 28 years. We are located in a very old building over 150 years old, space and renovations are therefore limited. Again thank... More

This 1 star hotel is definitely looking a little worn around the edges but the staff (owners) are so helpful & friendly and the location is FANTASTIC. The hotel is positioned right on the fortified city walls (ramparts) of Old Quebec, overlooking the port and St Lawrence River and walking distance to all the sights this beautiful city has to... The ONLY thing this place has going for it is the location. Upon arriving customer service plummeted when the owner realized we booked with a Hotwire service. We became second class customers to her. When we asked about possibly switching rooms she refused to even look into it because "you book on Hotwire. The room you have is good enough."... More

This is a simple hotel in a great location in Quebec. The building is old and higgledy piggledy. Our room was basic but everything worked. We had a fridge and the bathroom was fine. The bed was comfortable though only one side of the bed had a light. Breakfast is refectory style with shared tables covered in oilcloth. This had... More

We stayed two nights, from Sept. 4th to Sept. 6th 2015, and we had a lovely time. We were pleasantly surprised. The rating of the hotel should be higher. Location is perfect to visit Old Quebec or go to the Harbor, hosts were very friendly, room was a bit small and smelled "old" but overall was clean. Some basic things... More
