The Hotel Manoir des Ramparts is a hidden gem in Old Quebec. I was in town for the Fete de la Nouvelle France (New France Festival), and I was simply looking for an affordable room in Old Quebec. What I found was a small but lovely hotel just a few blocks away from the Basilica of Notre Dame and the... More

Hotel Manoir des Remparts is a lovely, quaint hotel in a great location! It is inside the walls and walking distance to everywhere you would want to go in Quebec City. The quiet cobble stone street it is located on overlooks the port and market areas and there is a little rooftop terrace to enjoy the view if your room... More

Clean hotel with comfortable beds and a great view over the port and St. Lawrence. Owners very friendly. We had a windy picnic on their roof top terrace, imagining how hard life could have been for the early Québécois! Parking behind the hotel was appreciated in this area of narrow streets. A little protein at breakfast ( boiled eggs?) would... More

This hotel was very accommodating, we came in late at night trying to find a place at the last minute close to the center of old Quebec City. Seen it was only 2 stars, but went in anyway...after staying, I think this hotel deserves more. Lovely atmosphere, location & owners...was given a good selection for the free breakfast. One little... We visited Old Quebec on August 5-7 during the 2015 New France festival. This is a busy time of year so we didn't have all that much of a choice of where we stayed. I always intensely read reviews and this hotel had a 1 star and mixed reviews but we chose it based on the reasonable price and location.... More

Although I gave it a "2 stars", le Manoir des Remparts is the perfect place when you want to be in the heart of a stunning city but do not have the money (or do not want to spend) for accommodation. The place is relatively clean, breakfast is fine, Internet sucks outside the lobby, the personel is nice and there... More

Old Quebec City is a wonderful place to stay and there are many fine hotels and inns. Manoir des Remparts is very nice. The location is especially good for anyone who likes a view of the harbor and proximity to the lower town, train station or public market, Good value includes continental breakfast of coffee, tea, croissants, muffins, toast, etc.

The Manoir is owned by a super friendly family who make sure all of your needs are met. I have come back now every time to this place. My husband has been coming for over 20 years here! The view over the canal in some of the rooms is beautiful and there are spacious balconies to enjoy it also. The... More

I don't really know where to start. We were desperate for a place to stay and this was the only hotel left in town for under $300 for the night. The entire hotel smelled like mildew and just left us want to shower. Our room smelled like old lady perfume and had a note on the door that was dated... More
