Stayed here 2 nights last week and WOW! Pulled up and got out onto the cobbles outside, a saxophone was playing, chateau Frontenac was lit up and the hotel's restaurant was full with life - excellent first impression. Continued inside and the guy on reception was very friendly showing us specifically on the map where we could park the car... More

We stayed 3 nights and couldn't have picked a better place. Right on the main square with a view out to the beautiful Frontenac hotel and square. It was incredibly quaint. The breakfast is great value and delicious. You can walk everywhere from here and most tours depart from just out front. I would highly recommend this hotel. Great value... More

This hotel couldn't be in a better location. We were in the heart of the city, directly across from the Chateau de Frontenac and steps from the "Break Neck" staircase down to the Lower City. Plus, we were two or three doors down from the Tourist Office, so if you were going on a walking tour, or to schedule any... More

we recently returned from a 3 night stay here. Location can't be beat especially if you are carless! Everything right outside your door. We had the meal plan so our breakfasts were included. They were delicious!!highly recommend. The dining room is very nicely decorated and must have recently been upgraded. Very charming! But you do have to carry your suitcase... More

This hotel is conveniently located in the heart of the Old City. It is across Chateau de Frontenac. The 1640 Restaurant located at the Ground Floor serves excellent food and reasonably priced. Presentation of food was also such a delight. Arrived early and though receptionist seems hesitant to even check our booking confirmation sheet because it wasn't time to check in... More

Great value in the heart of old Quebec City directly opposite the Chateau Frontenac. Perfect position for a short stay to explore the city. We dined in the restaurant and the food was delicious and the service excellent. Would definitely recommend this. Excellent to have free WiFi.

I booked the Auberge du Tresor at the last minute. The rates were low and the location was perfect. Located across the street from the Chateau and in the heart of the Old City, you could not ask for a better small hotel. Dining was excellent as the bar maid makes a perfect martini and can pick out a perfect... More

My mother and I stayed here for three nights after I attended a conference at the convention center. First of all, they made it very easy for me to bring my bags from my previous hotel and store them until later on when I could check in. The front desk closes at 10 pm but the overnight staff person sleeps... More

This was our first visit to Quebec City and I selected this hotel based upon trip advisor reviews. The location is perfect and our room was comfortable. We stayed in room 29 with a view of the square and Chateau Frontenac and loved the modern shower. This is a boutique hotel with no amenities in the room such as coffee... More

This is our 2nd visit to Quebec City and our 2nd stay at this Auberge. Wouldn't even think of staying anywhere else. To walk out of this hotel in the early morning is wonderful. It's peaceful and picturesque with the park & the Chateau Frontenac in your sight...and then it becomes the center of all activity throughout the day &... More
