Just finished 5 weeks in B&Bs across Canada and Acacias is remembered for the warm welcome and help of the owner. Comfortable, quiet and clean. Access to kitchen 24/7, convenient and frequent bus to old city - or you could walk if you need the exercise - and good local bars, eating places and food shops.

We spent a lovely weekend at this marvelous B&B. It is very European in style; such a nice departure from the usual over-fussied style of most, and our room was more of a suite; very spacious. The owner, Marc, was very helpful with directions and recommendations for places to see, places to eat, and how best to navigate the city.... More

I rent for a week and i found everything good. I was there for work, it's near of everything in Quebec city. My room was very spacious, it was the room 3, i had my little kitchen and my own bathroom with a bath and a shower. It's really quiet and a nice place to stay for a couple of... More

The B&B is a bit far from the city centre (10-15 minutes by car), but there is a fast and frequent bus (number 7) a block away. The interior is well deisgned and our room (number 1) was very spacious, aleit with a smallish bathroom. The owner is very pleasant, polite and well-educated and a good conversationalist. There were however,... More

My husband an I spent 2 nights at the Acacias in early September. Even though we arrived earlier than the check-in time, Marc was very welcoming and our beautiful room was all ready. We stayed in room # 1, large and very tastefully decorated. The bed was very comfortable and there is also a nice couch in the room. Bathroom... More

Acacias was recommended to us and we were very happy with our stay. We had a suite with kitchenette (appreciated even though breakfast was served). Everything neat and clean. We found the location perfect -- close to everything. The neighborhood was quiet and lovely to walk and the little back garden a delightful place to relax and enjoy the scent... More

We stayed at Marc & Marie's for two weeks of carnival in a chilly Quebec February. Location is great; a quiet neighbourhood just a few blocks from a main bus line which takes you to old town or to Laval U within minutes. The room was clean and quiet with the added bonus of a large shared kitchen & living... More

I stayed at this B&B Oct 10 and 11. For someone in the hospitality industry the owner was most unwelcoming. He asked me if I spoke French and when I said no, he seemed upset and couldn't understand why someone who didn't speak French would come to French Speaking Quebec. The room was small - the bathroom very small and... More

We stayed in Room 3 for 3 nights. It consisted of a nice size bedroom, a sitting room with a microwave and refrigerator, and a nice size bathroom with a VERY small shower (though it does have a standard soaking tub). Everything was very clean. Marc was very helpful and knowledgeable about the area - his restaurant suggestions were great.... More

From the moment of our arrival, we felt as though we were not particularly welcome: the host was annoyed that we rang the doorbell twice and then told us to wipe our feet. No hello, no welcome--just wipe your feet. I don't know where those 21 people stayed who gave this place 5 stars, because it certainly could not have... More
