The host was extremely welcoming when we arrived, and ensured that we had everything we could need. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms clean and modern. There is a small bakery downstairs, and the Auberge is just a short drive or walk to the centre of Quebec City. All in all, a great base for exploring the city. The... More

We stayed 3 nights last October 2013 and truly enjoyed our stay. We needed an auberge in walking distance to the hospital where my friend's daughter had undergone surgery. It was the perfect location. The auberge was very homey, clean and comfortable. Francois and Nichola, our innkeepers, made us feel very much at home and provided lots of helpful information.... More

The Auberge is about 1/2 hour walk or a five minute bus ride to Old Quebec. The buses are close by and run frequently. We were there in July and it was nice to have a refuge from the crowds of tourists. The room was clean and the bathroom quite new but it was hot while we were there and... More

Enjoyed a marvellous time in Quebec City. At the innkeeper's coaxing I rented a bike and tried the shortest route from the bike path at our doorstep to Montmorency. I enjoyed it so much I convinced my partner to join me on a longer loop across the bridge to Levis. We took our time and ambled along the path back... More

It was a great place to stay at. Clean and friendly, and perfectly located. The convenient location made it incredibly easy to get in and out of the Old City whenever we needed or to head north and see the sights nearby. Nicola and Francois were tremendously helpful and gave us the perfect itinerary for our romantic weekend away. The... More

Just returned from a 4 night stay at the Auberge for the Opening weekend of Festival D'ete de Quebec. We throughly enjoyed the stay at the inn and the conveinences it had to offer. The location was great, just minutes by bus or car to Old Quebec but without the high price of staying in Old Quebec. Within a two... More

Loved my stay at the Auberge Amerik. This tiny hotel was more like staying in a family home. The turn of the century architecture is a marvel itself. Unlike the cookie cutter hotel chains I've wasted money at in the past, this place goes out of its way to ensure a great experience by each guest. Owners Nicola and Francois... More

Thank you Francois and Nicola for a beautiful stay in your Auberge. We were impressed by your knowledge, kindness and willingness to please. Our suite was roomy and sunny. Your location, just outside the main tourist district was easily accessed using local transit while we took advantage of your free parking. Thank you for recommending the island. We enjoyed it... Home life feel in this hip renovated historic building. Comfy beds, clean rooms, knowledgeable hosts equally able to recommend the best pub grub or upscale restaurant. Ask for a room with a private bath if you're a fuss pot who doesn't like to share. Had a brilliant time and would stay again.
