Just returned from a 4 night stay at the Auberge for the Opening weekend of Festival D'ete de Quebec. We throughly enjoyed the stay at the inn and the conveinences it had to offer. The location was great, just minutes by bus or car to Old Quebec but without the high price of staying in Old Quebec. Within a two... More

Thank you Francois for the wonderful, Quebec city experience you shared with us during our stay. Your kindness and helpfulness were greatly appreciated and we would gladly recommend this Inn to anyone looking for a place to have the real feel of the area. The island was our favourite part of our trip and we would have never known to... More

Loved my stay at the Auberge Amerik. This tiny hotel was more like staying in a family home. The turn of the century architecture is a marvel itself. Unlike the cookie cutter hotel chains I've wasted money at in the past, this place goes out of its way to ensure a great experience by each guest. Owners Nicola and Francois... More

Thank you Francois and Nicola for a beautiful stay in your Auberge. We were impressed by your knowledge, kindness and willingness to please. Our suite was roomy and sunny. Your location, just outside the main tourist district was easily accessed using local transit while we took advantage of your free parking. Thank you for recommending the island. We enjoyed it... Home life feel in this hip renovated historic building. Comfy beds, clean rooms, knowledgeable hosts equally able to recommend the best pub grub or upscale restaurant. Ask for a room with a private bath if you're a fuss pot who doesn't like to share. Had a brilliant time and would stay again.

I was fooled by the recent reviews. Its an horrible experience. There is no service at all, no staffs when we arrived. We have three of us, and they promised to add a bed, but no staff on duty, one of us has to sleep on a two seat sofa. There are no TV, no table to write on, the... More

This small hotel, located in a historic Quebec City home is anything but ordinary. The hosts were not only courteous and friendly but spoke many languages and were always eager to give recommendations to make my time spent in the city and the neighbourhood most memorable. Sunshine on the beach in Beauport was a highlight as was a trip to... More

A wonderful homely atmosphere. Francois and Nicola were so helpful and made us so welcome. We had overseas relatives with us and they were greatly impressed by the friendliness and helpfulness of these gentlemen as to where to go, what to see, and where to eat. Lovely to stay in a place that is not a big commercial hotel.

This was such a great stay! Nicola and Francois are awesome, and the auberge is charming and beautiful. It feels more like you're staying with friends than at a hotel. In fairness for my review, this was our first non-hotel stay. You can't compare it to a traditional, larger hotel as they are two different things. But as a cute... More
