I recently stayed at this hotel with She Who Must be Obeyed, and from the moment we walked in we were enchanted with the place. The staff was friendly, helpful, courteous and quite happy to speak to us in English. Our travel weary French wasn't up to par. =) Our suite was clean, spacious and cozy. Breakfast in the morning... more

This place is excellent for business travelers - I stayed there on so many occasions. Hilton and Loews can be so boring ! For a little more, for for the same price, you get the charm of the Vieille Capitale. When I travelled for business I would not have my own car - took taxis instead - so the location... more

Hotel was very nice, had a room in the front overlooking the street. Room was considered a Suite, was very large, nicely furnished, Staff from bellman, desk clerk, housekeeping, etc. very friendly and helpful. Breakfast selection very extensive for such a small hotel, Couple of minor issues which did not distract from our stay. Decaf coffee wasn't available, Three thermostats... more

Small lower town (Basseville) hotel on Rue St Pierre, immaculately clean and recently renovated. Sister Hotel (Hotel 71) right next door. Small Lobby with connected breakfast room (free full brkfst each day), small library and small bar area with comfortable seats and small tables(drink specials each night). Our room 109 was large and airy with foyer and bath closed off... more

I would not recommend staying here unless you speak french. I made my reservation directly with the hotel and the booking agent got the date of arrival wrong and I was charged an extra night as a "no show". Needless to say, I was not happy with this since it was the booking agent's fault. I talked to the management... more

Great property! This is my 2nd time in Quebec City. This time I went with my husband and compairing to where I had previously stayed, this hotel is absolutely great. It is located just outside of the walls but very easy to find. All in all Quebec City is a very romantic city and well worth the visit. From arrival,... more

From the moment we arrived we found the service to be first class. The location of the hotel is great, just far enough away from the summer crowds, but only a 10 minute walk to the centre of the "Old Town". The area is populated by many small art gallaries and good resonably priced restaurants. The rooms are well sized... more

This is the second time my wife and I have stayed at L'Auberge Saint Pierre. We usually spend at least one weekend each summer in Quebec City, and decided to stay once again at the St. Pierre. I think it was Thomas Wolfe who coined the phrase, "you can't go home again". Well, in this case, he was wrong. When... more

Me and my fiancee just spent the weekend at Auberge st Pierre and we enjoyed ourselves. The beds were very comfortable, my fiancee seemed to enjoy the flat screen tv. The whirpool was a bit of a dissapointment there was enough space to have an actual jacuzi but instead it was a normal size tub with jets in it still... more

We stayed at the Auberge St Pierre for two days and we wished we could have stayed longer! The room we had, was nicely decorated (We have been told that the room and the bathroom had recently been entirely renovated). The bed is amazingly confortable. The flat screen TV , the view, the stone walls , the location of the hotel... more
