This is a really well located hotel with comfortable rooms and a good breakfast. The on-site parking was really helpful. The Plains of Abraham and Cartier Street are nearby and the walk down the Grande Allee to the old city is easy.

My husband I spent two days in Quebec City. We found this place on Trip Advisor and were thrilled with it. First of all, it's about 1/2 mile from Old Quebec, and just far enough away from all the tourists. It is in a beautiful neighborhood a block away from a huge park. We asked the woman at the desk... This is lovely accommodations with a beautiful room, nicely appointed but you have to be able to manage stairs. That's a challenge! The breakfast was served and excellent in a beautiful setting with table linens. We found the location perfect for restaurants and safe and easy to walk in the area. The parking was nearby and handy for luggage.

This is an outstanding boutique hotel in a very nice neighborhood within walking distance to Old Quebec City. The rooms are very clean and spacious. The staff is extremely courteous and helpful. Complimentary breakfast was very good. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Quebec City. Park the car and enjoy the walk through this beautiful neighborhood!

We stayed at this hotel for one night to visit Quebec old city, but would not repeat. Clean rooms and good service, but the hotel is a bit far from the old city and the beds are old. Both the wooden floors and the beds are old and really noisy. Parking has an additional charge, and breakfast was poor.

A fifteen minute walk or so from Old Quebec, the Relais offers a quiet, comfortable room with a modern bathroom, professional and courteous staff and a fine (unlimited) continental breakfast which includes juice, coffee, a variety of fruit, cheese, ham and traditional cretons to accompany your croissants, toast, etc., all with table service. Minutes away from tons of restaurants on... More

This is a great value. On the main Allee, not far from the busy and happening Cartier street, and around the block from the gorgeous Plains of Abraham park, which overlooks the St. Lawrence. Our best impression of the Relais Charles-Alexandre would have been the spotless room, comfortable beds, charming lobby and comfortable breakfast room, but the service was even... More

Friendly helpful staff, comfortable and clean room in nice old building. 10 minute walk to the action of "la grande allée", 10 more mins. To les plaines d'abraham. Good continental breakfast. Parking available but small lot and had to move my car during stay, but still worth it to be close to the old city. Will definitely stay again when... More

We had made reservations for a Superior Queen room a number of weeks prior to our arrival. The first room we were shown was on the ground floor at the back of the hotel, it was so dark and small we refused to stay in it. The second room we were shown was up a very steep set of stairs... More

We have just spent two nights at this very nice Hotel. It is conveniently situated just on Grand Allee and a walk to the Plains of Abraham and Old Quebec. The staff were very friendly and polite and having breakfast served at the table was a real change for us. The rooms were spotlessly clean and airy and shower fine.... More
