We stayed three nights and loved it. Nice clean, cozy room with atmosphere. Hotel is divided into sections with private keyed entrance for each which was cool as we felt we were in a smaller place. Breakfasts were simple and did not vary but were good enough to get us up and tide us until lunch in the Old City.... More

Really nice hotel, with spacious rooms and a very comfortable bed. The staff were excellent and very helpful. The hotel has a very convenient location and was one of the best places we visited in Canada - definitely recommend!

It is true that this hotel has a great location and that the staff was quite helpful but the room we stayed in (#6) needs a refresher. The A/C unit is old and noisy and the bathroom had a mouldy smell that went beyond the confines of its walls. The towels are not the best and they only provide the... More

We stayed one night following a cruise from Boston to Quebec, and so arrived at the hotel very early after disembarking the ship. The concierge greeted us positively and it was no problem for him to look after our 2 bags while we headed off to walk around the old city. It is about a 20 minute walk into the... More

As a party of six we stayed here for two nights following our cruise. The Hotel is typically quaint old world style with a very helpful staff. Breakfast needs to be booked for your set time and is a great start to the day with a wonderful selection of baked breads, fruit, yogurt, cereal and pate. For a few nights... More

My friends and I stayed here recently after leaving our cruise and before flying home. It was only a $10 cab ride from the port. We found our rooms very nice and really large - especially after being in a cabin on the ship for 10 days. Loved the room decor & wood floors. I had a room on the... More

I arrived at the hotel after dark. My room was on the second floor of the quaint walk up hotel in the historic area of QC. The Relais Charles-Alexandre was a cross between hotel and bed & breakfast. It was so perfectly situated that I parked my car when I arrived and walked everywhere during my stay. Nearby attractions such... More

This is a really well located hotel with comfortable rooms and a good breakfast. The on-site parking was really helpful. The Plains of Abraham and Cartier Street are nearby and the walk down the Grande Allee to the old city is easy.

My husband I spent two days in Quebec City. We found this place on Trip Advisor and were thrilled with it. First of all, it's about 1/2 mile from Old Quebec, and just far enough away from all the tourists. It is in a beautiful neighborhood a block away from a huge park. We asked the woman at the desk... This is lovely accommodations with a beautiful room, nicely appointed but you have to be able to manage stairs. That's a challenge! The breakfast was served and excellent in a beautiful setting with table linens. We found the location perfect for restaurants and safe and easy to walk in the area. The parking was nearby and handy for luggage.
