We arrived Sunday for a 3 day stay. Very spacious queen room. Lovely breakfast each morning but most importantly the friendliest, most pleasant and helpful staff throughout the hotel. Would highly recommend. Easy walk to many restaurants and historic Quebec. C. Smith

We have a home in New Brunswick and a home in Ottawa. We stop here in Quebec City at least twice a year on our travels between the two and Le Germain Dominion is always such a treat. The service is consistently of high quality and they will upgrade our room for free if there is availability. They know of... More

Located in the lower area of the historical Old Village of Quebec City is this lovely restored hotel, Germaine- Dominion. Conventinely located and great location to many quaint restaurants , shopping and the open air market. The bellman quickly greeted us and the valet brought our bags into the foyer . The main lobby has a lovely entrance and very... More

Beautiful, modern hotel along a quiet one-way street in the heart of Old Quebec. The hotel is about one block from the Museum of Civilization; located in a neighborhood with dozens of art galleries and restaurants. Easy walk to the farmers market. Our room was beautiful with an exposed brick wall and windows overlooking the street. The bed was furnished... More

Stayed for several days and enjoyed every minute. I'm not usually much for the modern style but it was done so well I never minded. It made a great location to springboard to the rest of the city. Front desk was very helpful planning trips and English was spoken by all the staff. When we come back this is the... More

From the arrival to departure, not one complaint. There is parking directly at the back entrance of the hotel, very convenient, but really, we never needed to use it. Quebec City is pedestrian and bicycle friendly. The lobby was beautifully decorated, the check in process easy, we received all the information we needed for our visit. The room was clean... More

This hotel has the whole package; location, excellent service, and very modern. The room was spacious, nicely appointed, and facing the Old Port. The best was finding a box of delicious chocolates, with fresh berries in our room after checking in, and not to mention a box of chocolates on our pillow every day! The bed is very comfortable to... Having recently spent one night at this hotel, I was more interested in the location rather than what the hotel had to offer. I was pleasantly surprised at what was found. The hotel is relatively small, however the rooms were very comfortable (the bed – outathisworld). My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the room, but as mentioned, the location was... More

Stayed in this hotel prior to our New England/Canada cruise. It's within walking distance of the port, as well as walking distance to all the sights in old Quebec City. The bed was amazingly comfortable, and they served a great continental breakfast! Our first night, we walked to one of the lovely restaurants nearby and then sat in the hotel... More

This small hotel is quaint yet modern with a clean feel and a wonderful breakfast included. Every morning there are offerings like rabbit pate, fresh bread, yogurt, fruit and granola. Delicious. There is also a cappuccino/espresso machine available all day. The staff is friendly and helpful, offering wonderful restaurant recommendations (clearly I love food!), and the rooms are decorated in... More
