The Hotel Le Germain-Dominion has been our go-to Quebec City Hotels on our most recent three visits. We had been frequently visitors to the Chateaux but found it unsatisfactory since the ownership changed. The Dominion is a lovely venue, a boutique hotel, with very personal service, lovely large and modern rooms, excellent baths. Its location is perfect for antiques and... More

lovely traditional hotel in the heart of the port area. A bit more personal than the Chateaux up on the top. Hotel has a small car park- payable but handy as parking in the area is difficult. We had a room on the top floor with great views out over the St.Lawrence river , well appointed and nicely furnished. breakfast... More

This hotel was a highlight of our 3 week trip around Eastern Canada and a fabulous place to end our holiday. Modern, spacious room and THE most comfortable bed. Free wifi, nespresso machine, lovely bathroom. The breakfast was a simple continental offering but high quality and delicious. Location was right in the old port area of Quebec and very convenient... I stayed at the Hotel Le Germain-Dominion for 6 nights with my two granddaughters, ages 10 and 17. The hotel was outstanding. Our room was spacious and comfortable. All of the staff were extraordinarily helpful and friendly. They made dinner reservations for us each night and all of their recommendations were quite good. They also helped us rent a car... More

We just returned from two nights at the Hotel Le Germain-Dominion and I wish we had stayed more! It's small, funky and perfectly located for strolling the Old City. We were on the 6th floor; rooms are of reasonable size. The décor is funky and hip...lots of grey, black and red. The bed linens were scrumptious. The only thing more... More

Wow! What else can I say... and I am glad we delivered. Since Connecticut is so close, please feel free to visit us again... it is beautiful in all seasons. Why not come back with your family of friends for Thanksgiving or the Holidays with the lovely atmosphere provided by our woodburning fireplace. See you soon, Sylvie More

We stayed here on one of our two nights in Quebec City. Although the price was more than we usually pay for hotel room, being within walking distance to everything there is to see in old Quebec was great. We got there early and given our room and parking so we could get right to visiting and our parking was... More

Hotel Le Germain is truly a lovely boutique hotel in the lower old town of Quebec City. The service was wonderful, as was the location of the hotel. The lobby was elegant and chic, decorated in dark colours with an eye for detail, huge windows and very high ceilings. The front of the hotel used to be a vegetable and... More

Charming comment... thank you. Do you know we also have a few properties in the Toronto area, for your out of town visitors or just for yourself without having to drive long distance... I have to admit though that our lobby has a special charm, to go with the historic district. We will be happy to have you back on... More

While we're obviously here for the sight seeing, the room was so luxurious and comfortable that we didn't want to leave the room. The bed was so soft and the pillows and bedding so comfy. The bathroom was stocked with all the needs. Everything one would need all in this lovely room. Convenient to the sights. Even the check in... More

We had a 4 night stay at this hotel and it exceeded all expectations! From the minute we were dropped off, the staff couldn't have been more helpful! Our room was ready early and was perfect (love the Nespresso machine in the room). The suggestions (tours, places to eat, visit, etc...) from the staff were outstanding! A friendly, smiling staff...
