This hotel is in old quebec, so expect an old quebec hotel! It might look like a big house turned into a hotel, but it is clean and cheap. The floor creak a little bit, you can hear people walking during the morning. My taxi to Village Vacances Valcartier cost way more than the night for two. The hotel is... More

You come in winter time ? First you feel happy you are close to Old Quebec. However, you need to look for the parking lot yourself. And in the center area... good luck to find closer. If you need the car out from parking, of course you'll pay again when you come back! So get down and up your staff,... More

We stayed Jan. 18 - 23 , my son and I . We were in Quebec for the Canadian Boxing Junior Nationals . This hotel was perfect for us . 5-20 minute walk anywhere , quite my fighter naps before he fights and cheep . Room has frig. and there is a microwave in the common area so you don't... More

This hotel is in Old Quebec, walking distance from everything. It is the sister hotel of The Champlain next door. You must check in next door at the Champlain. There are stairs, so no handicap access if that is required. It's a great basic room. It's like going to your grandma's house, the floors creak, it's just an old building... More

As soon as I arrived, the problems began. Firstly, the room key I was given wouldn't work. Now, this wasn't an electronic room key but an original metal key. So I had the inconvenience of having to contact reception and wait to even step foot in my room. The hotel itself does not have any staff present so the reception... More

So this year I couldn't be with my family for Christmas, so I decided to make the trip to QUE last minute from Montreal. I booked this hotel which was the only one still available within my budget for this trip. The fact that a night here averages half-price from most mid-range hotels located in the downtown area of the... More

I don't think you can do better as far as location in the Old City. They don't provide breakfast, but walk one block down the (pretty steep) street and you're at Paillard, which has amazing and reasonably-priced breakfasts. This hotel gets 5 stars from me because it offered exactly what I was hoping for: An inexpensive place to stay (I... More

Location for walking around old Quebec was perfect, small park across the street was great since we brought our dog. Hotel was very clean and the water pressure in the shower was great! I also liked the enviro-friendly options like pump soaps at sink & in shower, as well as the option to forgo day to day housekeeping service and... More

Great location, friendly staff, excellent price and super comfortable, nicely decorated rooms. I loved it! I stayed for 3 nights and the place ended up feeling like home. There is a common living and dining room on the main floor and a patio/garden in the back. I had no complaints and would happily stay there again, particularly since it cost... More
