Came in from Montreal - Le Westin - a true 4 star, also bid same price to this dump Loews le Concorde. I cannot tell you how disappointing this hotel was. This was definitely not a four star experience. 1. Hotel was old. Room 802 was in dire need of a makeover. Not at all indicative of pictures on the... More

Hotel was walking distance to old city of Quebec and Plains of Abraham behind. Overall service was excellent , at book in , consierge, etc and staff were mostly happy to deal in english . One exception was buffet breakfast the morning we left, my partner wanted the eggs benedict which was listed as being part of the buffet, she... More

Stayed at the Loews in Quebec for three nights. The hotel has a good location and is surrounded by many restaurants. The staff at the Reception desk was friendly and attentive. The male concierge was great but the older female concierge could care less. One day I was the only one in line and she never got off the phone... More

This hotel is efficient at having large groups arrive all at once. They will operate the elevators to get everyone up or down quickly. The staff spoke both english and french. They were very patient when dealing with students and were always polite when giving direction. The rooms are a true 5 star, complete with the "Tassimo" type coffee maker.... More

Often, unless an extraordinary rate becomes available either through an online service or direct through a hotel chain, I utilize Priceline. I've pricelines rooms all over the world, in fact, and usually am satisfied with the result. However, there are chains, such as Loews, which relegate priceline customers to their dedicated "priceline" line of rooms, which is usually the dingiest,... More

i just came back from a weekend stay at the Loews Le Concorde and I was greatly suprised by the renovated rooms. The rooms have been newly renovated including the bathrooms. There are plasma TV's in the room, coffee machine, blowdryer, comfortable beds, sitting area, small desk, etc... Downstairs from the hotel there are A LOT of nice restaurants and... More

Everything..from the room, the great view, the location, the bar at the top...was wonderful. You can walk right out into the gardens on the Plains of Abraham overlooking the St. Lawrence on your way down to the Old Town. We would highly recommend this hotel for a great stay in Quebec City.

I was disappointed with the looks of the hotel upon arrival, the lobby looked like it hadn't been updated since the 80's and the hallway to our room was dark and dingy, but my opinion changed when I went into the room - Great! Room was big, bright, updated, carpeting looked quite new, LOTS of desk space in the room,... More

Stayed the last weekend of Carnival and although a beautiful property and some very good staff, not a 3 or 4 star Hotel experience. Checked in on Friday Valet service etc not prepared for the "Full House". Now I doubt the bus loads of hockey teams and band members booked last minute, so why not adequately staffed? I would be... Over the Christmas holidays, I took my grand daughter to visit family in Québec City and stayed at Loews Le Concorde. Our suite was huge with a large sitting room and separate bedroom with queen size beds and a separate bathroom. Both rooms had fabulous views down La Grande Alée toward Old Québec, Le Chateau Frontenac and the St. Lawrence.... More
