As other reviewers have noted, the hotel is truly situated in the very center of the old town and accessible via public transportation and private car directly to the front door, which is not always the case with some of the other places to stay in the old quarter. It has a nice open and comfortable lobby, perfect for waiting... More

Dear guest, Thank you for your review. We are glad you enjoyed your stay. For the fridge, it is true it is not included in the room. However, it is possible to ask for one prior to arrival, upon availability, at the cost of 15$ per stay. Moreover, there is also one accessible by our staff 27/7 in order to... More

We (from Vancouver) met up with family (from Toronto and Moncton) in Old Quebec City. We chose Hotel Clarendon for the ambiance and they didn't disappoint. Although the Hotel is the oldest hotel in Quebec City...the Rooms are very modern, clean and spacious ...and the beds are the most comfortable, I have ever slept in. The entire staff is friendly,... The Lobby is really beautiful, the location is perfect if you want to explore Quebec Old City, because it sits right in the center of it. Rooms are regular in size but the beds are hard as rock. We had three rooms and one of them had problems with the a/c and instead of moving them to an upgrade, they... More

We loved your hotel. The location was ideal. Your staff are skilled, patient, charming and do their utmost to make our stay comfortable and memorable. I suspect we had the best room in the hotel Smile My one regret is that we did not dine in your hotel. We had a couple of breakfasts and found them delicious. Pretty much... More

Rooms wereneat and clean. Ideally located for vacation visit. Close to great shops, restaurants and sightseeing. We were right in the middle of the action. Staff was friendly and helpful. Reasonable rates for this area. But for a family of four, their standard room is just too small for the price.

Dear guest, Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We often are almost or fully booked; therefore it is important to ask the type of room that answers your need at the moment you book. The only good thing about this hotel is its location. The room was clean and the bed comfortable but it was very small and not a very pleasant room. The shower was terrible and kept on clogging. The door was very hard to open with the card and both by husband and I butchered our finger joints... The staff was... More

Dear guest, Thank you for taking the time to write a review. Have you mentioned the door situation with someone at the reception so we could resolve it? We work hard to ensure that our guests have the best stay possible. As for the pace of the service, within the summer season, the hotel is sold-out, therefore many guests and... More

Our flight was canceled from the US so we missed the first night of our 3 night reservation. We called as soon as we knew but it was past the 24 cancelation period. It was a Wednesday evening.
