A wonderful week-long stay at this landmark hotel. Perfect location in the old city with very reasonable prices. Beds were very comfortable with lovely down pillows and comforters. Reservation staff did their best to accomodate special requests (quiet room) and check-in was efficient and easy. Very helpful and cheerful concierge who never seemed to tire from probably the same questions... More

The Hotel is ideally located in the old town but at an easy walk from the main bus station. My room was small but very clean and quiet. Check in and check our procedures were very efficient and friendly. Reliable free wifi. Fresh and delicious breakfast at a reasonable price (option santé with fresh fruit, cottage cheese, yogurt, poached egg,... More

The location of this hotel is great and everything is within walking distance. Surrounded by quaint shops and eating places one is spoilt for choice. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. There is hardly any natural light in the room as the only window is small and in one corner and the lighting is inadequate. A good... More

I wanted to stay in that hotel for a little while now, and I finally got the opportunity to stay in the Old Quebec City on a stopover for a family-related trip just before Easter weekend. It is one of the oldest continuous-running hotels in Quebec City, if not the oldest and, despite its age, it still retains it charm... More

This is a very well located hotel. In the heart of the Old Quebec and just a walk distance to Chateau du Frontenac building. It offers a normal service, room (small), concierge, valet parking for a normal price considering it is a famous touristic city.

Comfortable, clean rooms. Location is amazing -right in the middle of everything. Hotel has amazing charm and character! It is definitely worth paying a little bit extra to be within the waĺls of the Old City. We would stay here again, without hesitation, and recommend to friends! Concierge was great, provided a wonderful overview of places to see on a... More

Wow beautiful old hotel with good staff. The beds were good and rooms clean and comfortable. Well positioned in the old town.. A short walk to anywhere. Food in the restaurant was ok and bar prices reasonable

In room 423 facing the inner courtyard. Comments: - great location very central (but a bit on the difficult side if trying to walk with luggage from the train/bus terminal as it is quite steep) - seems clean enough, but then noticed multiple stains on towels and washroom bin (the only bin) had some unsavory looking rubbish upon arrival -... My daughter and I stayed here. The room was a little small but we didn't spend much time in the room anyway. We could walk everywhere we wanted to go which was perfect! Loved the history of the place which added to its charm. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Everyone was very nice and helpful.

I loved this place- clean and charming with lots of pleasant detail in the decor. The convenience of being right in the middle of old Quebec City can't be beat. I stayed in an Economy room which would be very snug for two, but really, who goes to central Quebec City to hang out in their room? With the St.... More
