For this, our second stay at the Calrendon in the recent years, we had to wait until around 5 PM to get our room, when it shoudl have been ready at 4 PM. When we finally got our key cards, they didn't work, so we had to go back to the front desk to get new cards. When officially entered... More

As so many others have said, this hotel could not be better situated. We spent three nights and the rain was persistent but because everything is so close by our explorations were not adversely affected. That said, the welcome at the hotel was cold and calculating because we were first offered a room that was dark and dismal with a... More

We traveled with family, so there were a few of us staying at this hotel. My cousin's room had a bit of a flood the night before, so they were given another room just below ours. All of our rooms have been recently renovated and were very nicely furnished. Although our room only had windows into the courtyard, we were... More

You couldn't ask for a better location for the money if you want to explore old Quebec. A lovely historic hotel (built and began operations in 1870), but modernized and up-to-date. Very comfortable beds and good showers. Restaurant and jazz in the bar on some evenings. Everyone friendly. From here, it is only short walks to the Chateau Frontenac, Lower... More

Stayed at the Clarendon Hotel Quebec October 10-11th 2014. The location is just perfect. You just need to park your car and walk everywhere to get to see all shops and restaurants. The rate for parking is $25.00 a day, however we found a parking lot not far away located at 10 Pierre Olivier Chauveau for $18.00 a day. Keep... More

Dear guest, Thank you for your review. The main advantage of our Valet-parking, compared to the other available parkings around, is really to keep you worry-free of driving in the many one-way streets as well as having unlimited entrances and exits with your car. As for a microwave, if ever you need one, you only need to ask us, at... More

This is a lovely hotel, not the most up to date, but delightful. The beds are very comfortable, a major consideration on a business trip that was way too busy. Staff were generally very helpful, the location is great - in the heart of the beautiful city.

I have been staying at the Clarendon for decades, and I expected a better experience. The room was not in good condition. Though I rented their best two rooms, only one had a view --- the other had views of another part of the building instead of the park and the city. The bathroom in one room was very small... More

We stayed there for a couple of nights while in town seeing the sights. It's an older hotel, but it's very well maintained and has lots of character. The staff were all very nice and helpful. There is often music in a room off the lobby. Most people say there's jazz, but there were folk singers there when we were.... More

There were a few hiccups when I checked in but the staff were lovely and helpful. The room is tiny but functional and clean. I ate in the restraunt once and it was nice and price comparable. The concierge staff were knowledgeable and accommodating. It was a nice way to end my stay in Canada

We arrived at this very busy hotel and were told that they had given us an "upgrade". We were delighted until we realised that we were directly above the very loud jazz bar which played past midnight. I enquired the next night if jazz would be taking place again on that night and the same person who gave us the... More
