We were very happy that we selected the Hotel Clarendon for a three night stay. As many others have stated, the location is great.....in the heart of Old Quebec. Because the hotel is the oldest in the city, it exudes charm and refinement. Although our room was in the least expensive category, we were very comfortable and had a nice... More

What a beautiful "Hotel de Charme"! It seems it's the oldest Hotel in Canada still operating. The rooms are tiny but very comfortable. And the Hotel couldn't be more central, because you have everything that matters just near you! But i think it was a bit expensive for the kind of rooms...charming but so smalllll! Nice staff! And parking too... More

She is an old lady with a lot of class. The rates per night certainly don't reflex the charm, service and location. Skip the Chateau and enjoy a great staff, an authentic stay in an old hotel, and a location that cant be beat. The local jazz talent in the bar is a great way to cap of the night.

This hotel is lovely because it is perfectly located in the heart of old Quebec city, and within walking distance of everything. We were there this past summer '14 for a music festival, and you could walk to all of the venues within 15 minutes. Most of ours were at the plains of Abrahaim an it was just around the... More

This was a jewel of a find for us. As the oldest operating hotel in Quebec City, every inch of our accommodations reflects the rich history of the neighbourhood. Settle into a cozy room, where high ceilings and classic décor foster an ambience of warmth and sophistication. Enjoy views of the courtyard or cityscape while taking advantage of modern perks... Comfortable with friendly staff, going back in December. Central location in the old city easy walking to many attractions and restaurants. Easy access to the funicular and the boardwalk at the Chateau.

The location, the quiet, comfortable room, and the helpful staff all made our 6 night stay enjoyable. We had an excellent view from out 6th floor window. Every request was met with a smile and excellent service. We were within walking distance of everywhere we wanted to go. We would definitely book there again and recommend it to our friends.

This historic hotel is located right in the heart of Quebec City. It has a nice, old-styled lobby. The staff is courteous. Rooms are clean and bathroom fixture are up to date. There are many very fine restaurants within walking distance. The parking is 17 dollars a day, and valet parking is 25 dollars a day. This hotel is a... More

Dear guest, Thank you for your review. We are delighted to read you enjoyed your stay. Concerning the parking, the difference between valet-parking and self-park, is mainly that we offer unlimited entrances and exits, and that it enables you to be worry-free about driving in the confusing one-ways or pedestrian streets. We are looking forward to welcome you again soon... More

Hotel was 100%, nice thread-count sheets, perfectly located, easy to get to from airport $34.25 CDN, easy transitions, really nice lobby, good wireless, magnificent bathroom great view, etc. HOWEVER, I was in town, on purpose, to cover an act in the bar, in conjunction with the QC Jazz Festival, had bought tickets to both shows online, paid for hotel, etc,... This is an older hotel (since 1860). There is no mini fridge, the room we were in (King Corporate) was on the small side. But we were very comfortable there for 6 days starting October 19/14. The front desk staff and the Concierge are wonderful. The bathroom was small but recently renovated, although my husband (at 6ft) had to duck... More
