My husband and I stayed at Le Chateau Frontenac over the Labour Day long weekend and it was beautiful. This landmark hotel is centrally located in the heart of Old Quebec City. It's close to everything! Our room was very spacious, just slightly dated but very charming. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. We rested well after a long... more

This webform made me put in a date of our stay, but we have not YET been to this hotel. About a month ago, my husband and I booked a trip there for our anniversary in December. Then some very unusual circumstances came up in our lives. According to the special rate we had booked, we should have been penalized... more

Stayed 4 days & nights at the Frontenac attending a business conference. The business amenities, restaurants, retail shops, rooms, and customer service are all excellent. The hotel's historic decor is very nice paying much attention to detail. The rooms are small, but very comfortable. The Chateau is in a perfect location for scenic views and close walking distance to all... more

What a wonderful hotel! Excellent location, rooms with old world charm, and great service. We had a 1 bedroom suite with seperate sitting area, 2 flat screen tv's, but the feel of the room and the view of the surreal courtyard gave it a cozy feel. The downsides of the hotel are the cost of parking (which should be included-but... more

We have just returned home from a weeks stay at the Chateau Frontenac, and it was truly amazing. The Chateau is located in the old Quebec part of the city overlooking the St. Lawrence. The staff were very helpfull, and quick when we required something such as room service. Considering this is not exactly a small hotel, we had 2... more

I recently stayed at the Chateau Frontenac for 4 nights in room #3263. It was lovely. I have read other reviews where the guests found the rooms small. You must remember that this is an old historic hotel and when built most travellers were just looking for a place to sleep. Many rooms didn't even have bathrooms back then! We... more

We stayed at the Chateau over Labor Day Weekend, and absolutely loved it! We booked a "gold river-view" which is worth the money. If you can afford to book the gold rooms, I'd strongly suggest it. We checked in on the 14th floor, so missed the lines in the lobby. The Concierge was wonderful, very freindly and helpful. They had... more

Me and my wife have stayed only 2 nights (as apart of our 3 weeks honeymoon) at this magical hotel. We arrived from the airport by taxi and the taxi driver was a young man who is studying at Quebec City and is the most polite, helpful and kind taxi driver that we have ever met. Our room was at... more

My wife and I stayed at the Chateau for only one night, but it was a terrific visit. We had a room with a view overlooking the river and part of the old town. Our room had a Queen size bed, along with a fully equipped big screen tv, internet access, and a very nice marble bathroom. The room was... more

Dark and dingy hotel, which is in a time warp in a negative sense. the lobby is dark, overcrowded, the reception queues are long, the staff Ok, but not overly helpful. The rooms are small, pokey, the bathroom even smaller. The air conditioning unit is antique and belongs to a mueseum. I could not speak all night because it was... more
