Wonderful experience We had superb and most pleasant experience staying in this B&B in July-2013. Best location – heart of old Quebec City and all fantastic attractions. Everything is in walking distance. Nice room in a century old historic building. We are a family of 3 – mom, dad and 6 years old. Our host Natalie is very warm and... More

My wife and I just recently spent 3 nights at the Castel d'Amerique Francaise (which for some reason is also listed separately as the "Castel du Monde" on TA) over the New Year holiday. What a wonderful experience it was, despite the frigid weather and some initial hiccups. When we arrived, Jolanta (the owner) informed us that the room she... More

We visited Quebec City for the first time in October. From the moment we arrived we were made most welcome at this charming B & B. We loved the location as we could walk everywhere and it was delightful to be within the walls of the old city. We felt like we were in Europe! We really enjoyed the spectacular... More

An absolutely wonderful experience. My girlfriend and I arrived tired from our journey from the U.S., but immediately were revived and fell in love with this B & B. Our room had a private balcony, in addition to the larger public one which was adjacent - both of which had magnificent views. Jolanta was an extremely gracious hostess, providing excellent... More

I stayed in this wonderful B&B for five nights in September while at a conference. The hostess/owner was absolutely lovely and she made great food for breakfast. The decor was quite eclectic. The house was full of antiques and modern painting. Much better than a boring hotel. Will return another time to share this experience with my husband!

My husband and I visited Quebec City for the first time this past August. We found this wonderful Bed and Breakfast in a perfect location for touring the old city on foot. Our room was the Frontenac room which was very spacious with a lovely bathroom attached. We loved the modern art on the old brick walls, and the wooden... More

Recently stayed at the Castel d,Amerique Francaise. The Hostess Yolanta is so welcoming, helpful with resturant suggestions and what a cook. Breakfast was varied and wonderful. Great breads, always a hot entree and fresh fruit and great coffee. Our room was in the Ecurie and it was so spacious and clean with a lovely bathroom. Would definately stay again and... More

Two girlfriends and I visited Quebec City September 3-7 and were delighted with our stay at this lovely b and b. Our room was sufficiently spacious for the three of us. We had and private terrace -- our's was the Champlain room on the third floor. (There are no elevators so just be advised). Jolanta, the landlady, is a gracious... More

I had the luck of getting to come back and visit Quebec City again. I requested the same room I had the first time since I really enjoyed it. This place is great, hosts are very friendly. Food is excellent! A little something different for breakfast each day, plus always fruit, breads, cereal, etc. Evertyhing is very clean. I love... More

My friend and I enjoyed staying here for 4 nights in August. The room was huge, quiet and had a modern bathroom. The breakfasts were so delicious and contained such a variety of foods, from egg casseroles to French bread with comfiture (jam), tea and coffee, fruit like blueberries and strawberries. We met fellow travelers in the morning in the... More
