My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Castel d"Amerique Francaise in September. Each day we looked forward to Yolanta's delicious breakfast. Yolanta is a warm and caring innkeeper. She was very helpful in planning our sightseeing each day. The location is great and close to many historic sights and restaurants. We would love to go back for another... More

My cousin and I stayed at the "Castel" at the end of May; it was a great experience, and our hostess, Jolanta, was wonderful!. The location was perfect for us---short walks to all our planned destinations. And Jolanta's cooking was absolutely delicious!

We stayed in Castel d'Amérique Française in August and enjoyed it completely. We were able to easily walk through uper and lower old Quebec, to the La Citadelle and the National Assembly. We had our 2 teenage children with us and the écurie (Stable) room gave us lots of room and privacy in comfortable beds. Breakfasts were tremendous and of... More

We had the pleasure of staying at Castel d'Amérique Française on a recent trip to Quebec City. This was my family's first trip here and we wanted to stay in the old section and soak up the French culture. Castel d'Amérique Française's location is perfect. Situated in Old Quebec this B&B offered central location to start our exploration. The rooms... More

This was our home in Quebec for 4 nights and it was totally enjoyable. Our room had its own little terrace and we made good use of it...wine and relaxing in private. The breakfasts were delicious, generous, varied and terrific! They kept us going through to early dinner...with iced coffee and a pastry or ice cream for lunch. The street... More

We had a wonderful time at this hotel during our stay in Quebec City. The location is perfect, on a very historic street just minutes from Rue St. Louis and the Chateau Frontenac. Our room was wonderful, big comfy bed, antique furniture, updated bathroom, and plenty of space. The breakfast was wonderful, plenty of choices, and the option of eating... More

We stayed here with my sister & brother-in-law for 3 nights and can't say enough about the peaceful atmosphere, hospitality, beautiful/eclectic rooms, great price and location. Everything was top notch. Breakfasts were homemade by Jolanta, the wonderful owner/proprietor of the establishment. They included a different casserole/quiche each morning along with coffeecake, breads, meat, cheese, bagels, jams, jellies, cream cheese, fresh... More

My wife and I stayed here for three nights along with our friends. We had wonderful rooms, each with a character of it's own. They were individually air conditioned and each with its own bathroom including a tub and shower. Jolanta was a wonderful host and provided fantastic breakfasts that we enjoyed on the terrace. The quiche and bread pudding... More

This has to be one of the best locations inside the old city of Quebec. We were within easy walking distance of all the attractions inside and outside the walls. Jolanta spoiled us with fabulous breakfasts every morning including coffee cakes, quiches, french toast, ham, cheese, bagels, bread, and more. She struck just the right note as a hostess -... More

We stayed here for 5 days in mid-July. The hotel (Really, I'd describe it more as a Bed & Breakfast) was within walled Old Quebec and centrally located between hustling, chaotic rue St-Jean and the beautiful central area near Chateau Frontenac. The rooms in this hotel are spacious and adorned with an eclectic (and I do mean eclectic) mix of... More
