I chose this B&B based on Tripadvisor reviews, so thanks reviewers! It was a terrific experience. I'd asked for a room on the top floor with views if possible, and my expectations were exceeded. I was in the Cartier room which is spacious and elegant with a kitchen and long veranda looking out to the Chateau Frontenac and l'Edifice Price,... More

What a delightful time we had staying here. Jolanta,, the hostess could not be more pleasant. The only surprise to us was that the rates were in US dollars which we did not expect but it was still a bargain. Great location in Old Quebec. Weather was not the best for us however we found a fine dining restaurant across... More

We loved staying at this bed and breakfast. It is in a wonderful location within the city walls and near to all the sights of old Quebec. The building is historic and full of antique furniture and lots of art. Each room has its own character. We stayed in La Baronne, a converted stable with cathedral ceiling and extra sleeping... Starts with a magnificent suite. The decor is really nice and the service is amazing. The breakfast/brunch is really good and homemade. The variety assures that everybody will find what they are looking for and will end up with a too-full stomach. The hostest is really kind and is always smiling. This is definitely a romantic place and allow for... More

So one wants to see Old Quebec well this is the place to stay - so central. There are plenty of restaurants nearby along with La Citadelle. Jolanda is very friendly. Breakfast is good, buffet style. The breakfast room is quite small but there are tables outside and it really is good to eat outside - so venture out. The... More

My wife and I very much enjoyed our stay at this B&B. The hosts were very hospitable and the room was charming and clean. We were on the third floor overlooking the city from the balcony, great view. Would highly recommend.

The location, services and breakfast are great. The rooms kept the authenticity of the old times, very charming. The only critique is that it could be a little noisy due to the construction being old, but it is not too bothersome. The positives greatly outweight the negatives. Beautiful experience overall.

Spent three nights at Castel d'Amerique and had no issues with the hotel. Stayed on the second floor in Champlain room, which was very spacious with 2 queen beds. Jolanta is a very accommodating host. Parking in the garage 2 blocks away was easy. Just put in a credit card upon entering and use same one when you leave. $18... More

What a unique and wonderful Bed and Breakfast in a perfect location in Quebec. The breakfasts were amazing and our hostess couldn't have been more accommodating. Our room on the third floor was spacious and the view of Quebec spectacular!

I echo the positive comments by most reviewers but should advise those who are not particularly agile that access to the rooms from the street is difficult if you have large suitcases. From memory the entrance doors have steps between them and then there are stairs to climb if your room is not on the ground floor. The B &... More
