Just got back from spending a week at this inn. The room we had (including a very comfortable bed and a great whirlpool bath) was just right for the three of us, and with the microwave in the room and access to a well equipped kitchen downstairs, we were able to save money by cooking a number of meals. The... More

Just came back from a two nighter at Le Gite du Hu-Art. What wonderful hosts Linda, Pierre and their daughters are. Breakfasts were absolutely wonderful. The room was great with its own microwave and small fridge. The lake there is beautiful - although we did not use a boat. The bonus is that it is so close to downtown Quebec... More

We stayed for 3 nights in this charming B&B (Based on Trip Advisor's reviews) & were really happy about choosing this place. Our flight got in pretty late but our host Pierre had made arrangements for us to enter & he actually stayed up late to welcome us in! Breakfasts were outstanding & all the tips that we got on... I'm finally able to get around to comment on our wonderful stay last September. Our stay here was a great location for a launching point of our first visit to Quebec City. Our Hosts were extremely helpful on what to see and the accommodations were impeccable. Being on Lac St. Charles enabled us to use the Kayaks that they have... More

Our family of 4 stayed in the 2 queen bed room. Very comfortable with quality furnishings. The house is beautiful with interesting art and all the amenities a traveller could wish for. Kitchen, outdoor grill, fire pit, washer and dryer and an amazing lakefront location to enjoy. The breakfasts were fantastic and included plenty of fresh fruit. Pierre gave us... More

We had a short but sweet stay at Le Gite du Hu-Art on our way to Jaques Cartier park. I can't say enough good things about this place. We stayed with our 4 year old son, and the room was perfectly decorated , clean, charming, and supplied with everything we needed. The tub was a welcome relaxation. The fact that... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Le Gite du Hu-Art while attending the Bonne Homme Carnival in Quebec City during the long weekend. The "Zen" room was comfortable and quaint with a lovely Jacuzzi bathtub and comfortable furniture. The grounds were beautiful and we were able to use provided snow shoes to walk over the frozen lake. The family was... More

Perfect location - close to nature, trails, parks, yet easy access to spas, Quebec City. Divine gourmet breakfasts. Most comfortable and charming B & B with in-house massage availability, therapeutic bathtubs, lovely amenities. Wonderful friendly, informative and welcoming hosts - extremely helpful, going out of their way to help you enjoy your stay and the area - attention to detail!

This is a lovely place - 20 mins north of the city (without traffic). The owners are very friendly and very helpful - supplied guidebooks, etc. for use. Great breakfasts and comfortable rooms. The lake is very nice but cannot be seen from the house - you need to walk down a path to see it.

From northern New Hampshire, we have traveled to Quebec City and have stayed at the Chateau Frontenac in the past. My son and I decided to look for something quieter, outside of the city and found Le Gite du Hu-Art. The B&B was more than comfortable, the family was so hospitable and welcoming, and the gourmet breakfasts were superb. The... More
