You will be a bit confused with the address of the Hotel and the main reception which is located half block away to another Hotel where you need to go and check in get your key but this is a small issue which is compensated by the price, cleanliness and location. Right in the heart of the upper old Quebec... More

The Good: location , location, location! You are literally minutes away from the attractions and restaurants in the Old Quebec. Friendly staff. Overnight parking is available for $20 per night (valet is available from 8am-8pm). The Bad: There is no front desk at the hotel. It shares the front desk staff with sister hotel Hotel Acadia just around the corner.... More

The hotel is on one of the main streets in the old town and convenient for exploring the upper town and lower harbour area. Confusingly, the check in is not at the hotel but at a sister hotel around the corner, which information does not accompany the booking and so you onl discover this on arrival at the entrance to... The hotel is located in ‘old Quebec’ within walking distance of restaurants, shops and historical sites. The building is secured by key and felt very safe but it has no elevator so you'll need to carry your luggage on a narrow flight of stairs. An important thing to keep in mind is the reception is around the corner from the... More

This hotel is fine if you don't need anything from the front desk. We had requested maid service on our second morning. We came back at dinner time to find our door was wide open. I can only assume it had been that way for the majority of the time we were gone. Nothing was taken, which I attribute to... More

Certainly is a no frill hotel, when you arrive at the address you find instructions to proceed around the block to another hotel to check in, then tote your luggage around the block and up a large flight of stairs to your room. Our first room was nice but there was loud banging within the walls, asked for another room... More

Dear Carol B, We really regret what happened during your stay, we do not hide the fact that the front desk is located at the Hotel Acadia and the information is online on every platform. Also a valet / porter is here from 8am to 8 pm to help you with luggage, you only have to ask when help is... More

the best part of staying at this hotel was the awesome location it provides. the hotel, though, is extremely noisy. some staff were not very reliable or helpful but others were friendly and caring. the hot tub in the main hotel was extremely relaxing on the cold and rainy days.

No frill hotel, rooms are clean and price is good. Great location in Old town, restaurants nearby, all attractions in walking distance. Staff is nice and check in is at another location around the corner. They have luggage service. No elevator.

Last year we stayed at the Louisberg in a junior suite which was perfect. This year we just rented a regular room. It was small and the bed was ok. The room was tastefully decorated, clean, heated well, and had everything we needed for a short stay. The location is PERFECT! We got breakfast this year which we did not... More
