I had a wonderful stay at the b&b Saint-Louis. The location could not be better, just 3 blocks away from the Chateau Frontenac. The room I stayed in was cozy and comfortable. Madame Balti, who runs the place was charming and full of information about the city. Also, her breakfasts, which vary from day to day, are excellent. Monsieur Balti,... More

We booked this b&b for one night in May as our 1st pit-stop as we made our way from Ontario to Newfoundland. Since we were just passing through Quebec City, we were specifically looking for somewhere cheap and cheerful. At first there was a bit of confusion regarding parking, I understood from their website that they had free parking, but... More

We stayed four nights during Winter Carnival and could not have asked for a better location. Just inside the walls of Old Quebec, minutes from many popular attractions. Gracious hosts! Greeted upon arrival with tea, coffee and homemade cookies. Madame Balti prepared a different tasty breakfast each day. Our room was clean, comfy and warm with a private bath (tons... More

The location is perfect - inside the old city and within walking distance of all the highlights in old Quebec. Our room was clean and comfortable. The breakfasts were different every day with a selection of fruits, yogurt, homemade breads, jams, and pastries. Ahmed parked our car around back (small extra fee). His wife, madame Balti was very service minded... More

The location is great, just make sure you look for parking beforehand as there is nowhere to park at the B&B. The rooms are nice. The mattress in our room was pretty bad though, which caused backaches the following days, something I normally don't suffer from. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food is usually good, but it... More

Besides having a great location inside the city walls, Ahmed and his wife Madame Balti are anxious to give personal service. They go above and beyond. I have dietary restrictions and I got a delicious hot breakfast. I would stay there again.

This was our first time Quebec City, and it was delightful! The autumn colors were brilliant and the town was extremely charming. This bnb is located near the entrance to the old town, which is just perfect for exploring the old town and the area outside of the old city. The owner is a very sweet lady, and while we... More

We checked into the B&B Saint-Louis last Thursday evening after getting off a cruise ship. We were picked up at the port by Ahmed, the husband of the proprietor. He is a cab driver!! Very handy. Madame Balti kept telling us, "The room is very small. Very small." We were getting off a cruise ship where there wasn't enough room... More

Host and Hostess are wonderful. They really want you to have a lovely visit in Quebec. We stayed at both their properties. If at all possible stay at the "old town" Saint Louis property as "Location" is almost everything. I must say the other location is MUCH Quieter (no buses and horse drawn buggies going by late into the night)... More
