Nothing about this hostel is even basically acceptable. Owner is dour and unfriendly, and the facilities are grossly undersized for the number of beds that have been crammed in. Kitchen is tiny, lacking cooking equipment, and wasn't cleaned once in the 3 nights we stayed there. Bathrooms were similar - poorly maintained and cleaned poorly. There is a cafe at... More

Stayed here for three days over Carnaval. Pierre a and Skipper (dog) are both lovely and more than willing to help. The roons can get a bit crowded, if full & the bed is shocking but there's free coffee/tea and toast/spred in the morning. Free wifi, free computers, located close to old town (free elevator) nothing wrong at all as... More

Went with two friends, stayed for two nights in a three bed room. Would not do it again. Very rude staff, bathrooms were terrifying (not even hand soap), rooms were okay but the locks were funny. Someone else ended up coming into our room in the middle of the night thinking it was his. He was super cool about it,... More

I stayed there 3 nights in a two bed dorm, but only me live there. One night after having a dinner outside, I went back to my room but the room was totally opened. I was pretty sure I locked the door when I went out around 7pm. It scared me so I went downstairs to tell the owner the... More

I stayed here for seven nights in an eight bed dorm. The room got hot at times when it was at full capacity. The beds were hard plastic, similar to what a child who is toilet training would use. The kitchen was fine with all the required equipment, however cutlery was a bit light on. There were many shops, restaurants... More

Check in is after 3pm, so when i arrived at 10am they told me i had to wait but i could leave the bag there. When i came back at 4 a guy showed me to my room (without even checking my id) and the bed was still undone from the previous guest...so the guy just took the dirty sheets... More

I went there with 4 other friends. The place is very well located, have enough room, and the receptionists are welcoming, knows the city well and gave us very good advices and helped us discover great places (although we already came to Québec several times). Beware of the dog, that is for sure... The entrance is small so it might... More

The location is good. They didn't receive our reservation from this site. We called in advance, but no returned call. Lucky to have vacant room. Parking is near the hotel, per day about cad15. A supermarket is near, and many restaurants and coffee shops around, too.
