The location is wonderful--on a quiet street but only 2 blocks from the Frontenac, within walking distance of everything in the Old City. Our room was charming, and the owner was very accommodating about a first floor room due to a handicap that prevented my husband from climbing steps. The hosts are charming and helpful in every way, and the... More

Our dear friend from Portugal came to visit us and we took a four day trip to Canada, one night in Quebec City and two nights (at a Benedictine Monastery) in Saint Benoit du Lac. We stayed at Chateau Fluer de Lys in Quebec. We very much enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The hotel location is excellent, the rooms, while... More

A great location to explore Quebec City especially for those with limited time. If you would like to feel and learn the history of Quebec, the Chateau Fleur de Lys is steps away from your stroll through the heart of the City. The journey can begin each morning with a continental breakfast. And upon return at night, the rooms are... More

Found this hotel on trip advisor, and it is a little gem. The location is fantastic, just behind the chateau Frontenac, facing the governors park. The street itself is lovely and quiet, but a two minute walk takes you to the promenade, restaurants, churches, and squares. The house is indeed charming, and the new owners are careful to maintain that... More

Dear Megan, First of all, many thanks for all your kind words and compliments. We are delighted to have made your stay in our Chateau restful and pleasant. Please don't fear to see our prices reach the level of the ones of your favorite hotel in Rome. First, price range in Quebec city is much lower than in Rome, and... More

We have stayed at the Fluer de lys since our honeymoon in 1969!! This year we traveled back with the family and we were overjoyed at the changes in this hotel. Rooms were light and airy. Beds comfortable and the service great!! We had three rooms and they were all renovate and clean. This is a great place to stay... More

Perfect location, with a view of the Chateau Frontenac, and Governours Park. And outside the tourist streets of Rue St.Louis and Rue St. Jean. Carpet is worn but the owners are working to upgrade the rooms in an historic building. Beautiful moldings. Local owners (transplanted from Paris!) not investors from other places squeezing the last dime out of service. Breakfast... More

Wonderful hotel with much character. Location was perfect! Owners and staff offered much advice on attractions and trips and we're very helpful when our luggage was lost by the airlines. We were in family room with 3 double beds. Very comfortable and roomy enough, but would suggest a room dehumidifier, because the basement where the room was, had a damp... More

Dear Rhonda, Many thanks for taking time to share your opinion about our large family rooms. We have heard your comment about the dehumifier and are going to evaluate the best solution to solve this issue. By the way the air-conditioning installed in this room has already a fonction "dry" that can be used when weather is wet as that... More

Located between the Citadel and the Chateau Frontenac on a corner of a quiet park, it is close to everything yet is a quiet retreat. The sunny breakfast room with a view of the park is very comfortable for dining and for sitting with your wifi device. The Victorian details add much charm. Our room (#18) was very quiet on... More

Very charming. Location is GREAT!!! Right across from the Chateau Frontenac. Lots of Artisans, horse and buggy rides, and lots of cafe's. Went for a horse and buggy ride which included the driver being a tour guide. He knew his history and made the ride very educational as well. We will definitely book this hotel again.
