I chose this hotel primarily for it's easy to get to location. If you haven't been to QC before, driving in the old part of the city and especially parking is a beast. To get to the Port Royal, you'll basically you cross the bridge over the St.Lawrence, then take the Champlain boulevard exit, follow it to the end, turn... More

We spent our last night in Quebec here and were pleasantly surprised with the hotel. The location is fantastic, a short walk to great restaurants and historical sites of Old Quebec. The room we had was very spacious and had a small kitchenette in the living room and a bedroom adjacent to this room. I wouldn't call it a luxury... More

We stayed here with 2 kids over Christmas break. The room was huge and had a nice up to date kitchen. The location was great- walk everywhere in Old Quebec. The on site restaurant and bar were fantastic and we opted for breakfast package which was a good deal. Really great food (not Quality Inn microwaved stuff- super brunch menu).... More

We stayed at Le Port-Royal for 3 nights and we were very pleased. The Staff was extremely helpful, the suite was spacious and very clean. The two restaurants on site were great. The hotel is in a great location, close to lots of restaurants, shops and art galleries.

We (two couples) stayed two nights in the deluxe suite, which had two bedrooms. Very clean, very comfortable (beds too), great location, friendly and helpful staff. There were/are a few oddities: 1. no towel bars whatsoever in the bathroom, just two incredibly cheap looking hooks on the back of the bathroom door; for four people in two bedrooms. 2. the... More

Visiting Quebec City we spent two nights in this hotel. Room was immaculately clean, very spacious (we took a deluxe room) with a very well equipped kitchen. People at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. Location - excellent. The only minus was the mattress (too soft) and some noise from the street from snow removal trucks. If you... More

We honeymooned in Québec City and made a decision to avoid chain hotels. This was an excellent choice. It is in lower town, but is a short walk away from everything- farmers market, restaurants, city centre and port/boardwalk. Clean comfortable rooms and nice staff who spoke decent English. Parking also available. Our best memory is the French toast at the... More

I absolutely loved this hotel, beginning with its location right by the port, and also nestled at the edge of lower town alongside buildings from the 1600's. The room itself perfectly balanced old and new with its sleek modern style and exposed brick walls. One of the best things about the hotel is that all suites come with a kitchenette... More
