Visiting Quebec City we spent two nights in this hotel. Room was immaculately clean, very spacious (we took a deluxe room) with a very well equipped kitchen. People at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. Location - excellent. The only minus was the mattress (too soft) and some noise from the street from snow removal trucks. If you... More

We honeymooned in Québec City and made a decision to avoid chain hotels. This was an excellent choice. It is in lower town, but is a short walk away from everything- farmers market, restaurants, city centre and port/boardwalk. Clean comfortable rooms and nice staff who spoke decent English. Parking also available. Our best memory is the French toast at the... More

I absolutely loved this hotel, beginning with its location right by the port, and also nestled at the edge of lower town alongside buildings from the 1600's. The room itself perfectly balanced old and new with its sleek modern style and exposed brick walls. One of the best things about the hotel is that all suites come with a kitchenette... More

My family and I recently had a delightful stay at this hotel. It is located in the Lower Town and is an easy walk to all the most important places to enjoy in Quebec City. The staff from check in to room service, doormen and Le Pub were without exception professional yet outgoing. The front desk recommendations (like museums to... More

I'm on Day 3 of a four day booking at Port-Royal and I cannot recommend it more highly. We booked a last minute deal and drove 30 hours from Minneapolis to make our first visit to Quebec City. The hotel is easy to find, check-in was a breeze, and we were stunned by how beautiful and spacious our corner room... More

We really liked this place! The location is easy to find, with lots of parking right in front. Note: they ask you leave your keys at the front desk. The hotel staff is pleasant and friendly, and were eager to assist in both french or english. Both the upper and lower parts of Vieux Quebec are easily accessible by foot.... More

When looking for hotels, I picked the Port-Royal only based on what I saw on their web site. The good news is that the site doesn't do justice to the hotel. The staff was friendly, the hotel easy to find in Quebec City, and it's located perfectly for easy access to the cruise terminal. The suites are beautifully done and... More

Not even close to being your typical lodging. 27 steps from our outside window to the bathing area. Great entertainment system. Kitchenette. Great bed--and in the lower village of a marvelous city. The staff are very client savvy, co operative and pro active to assure you of an excellent stay. There is a nice lounge area and restaurant as part... More

We spent three days at the Port Royale and loved the location which was close to the cruise terminal as well as to the bus stops for the little electric bus that takes you up to the higher part of town for $2 per trip. It is within walking distance of the railway station too. The staff were brilliant and... More
