We have been to Quebec several times, but usually have stayed in big chain hotels. We really enjoyed our stay. The room was well decorated and well appointed. The hotel allows dogs, which was nice. (Don't have a dog, but was nice to see.) The bar and restaurant associated with the hotel, were great. We had breakfast in the restaurant... More

We stayed 2 nights after arriving by ferry from Levis. A short walk. We had a spacious suite which was quiet enough. Internet good and we liked the location for great coffee nearby Cafe du Soleil and good basic food choices.

Stayed July 19-21 in a Deluxe Suite Plus. The hotel location is fantastic for exploring the old city and has very easy access to the Funicular or the Rue St-Jean area via some steps up the wall a few blocks away. Staff were pleasant and dealt with our limited French in a way that didn't make us feel uncomfortable. The... More

We stayed 2 nights pre-cruise at the Port Royal in June. We chose it because the hotel appeared to be close to the cruise ship terminal. In fact, the terminal turned out to be only a block and a half away, an easy walk even with suitcases in tow. The choice of location was even more rewarded when we were... More

Without a doubt Port Royal's greatest asset is its location. You are close to many sights and sounds of the Lower Town. However we did have some complications - sewer gas was an issue in our room. On our third day we were moved to a much better room. We appreciated this gesture but it would have been better to... More

This beautiful, historic neighborhood was full of newly renovated but still old-world buidings, cafes, antique stores and galleries. In addition, the historical sites, churches, Market, museums and port made this a great walking neighborhood. It was so close to so many places that daytime and evenings were such fun Unfortunately, the staff were not as knowledgeable as they should have... More

We were in Quebec City for just one night, so wanted to stay at a hotel which was close to Old Quebec, where we wanted to spend most of our time. We arrived around 11:30 AM, and were promptly given a room. The front desk staff was very friendly and spoke to us in English. The parking fee is about... More

Staff was very friendly and bilingual. The room was superb, nicely decorated with a great loft feel. Someone had turned some music on inside the room prior to my arrival, which was very welcoming and made you feel like you were coming home. Looking forward to staying at this hotel again soon.

Really liked this place - our room was nice and airy and we could open the window - I like my fresh air rather than air-con (which was also good - not loud) Floor was a bit uneven but part of the charm. In the old part of town so plenty of lovely walks and places to eat/drink. We stayed... More
