I normally hate chain hotels but Embassy Suites makes me make an exception. PERFECT location in Old Town but also within easy walking distance to Downtown, Chinatown, Quartier Latin, McGill University and the Village. Excellent base to everything and very close to some of the best restaurants. Special mention to be made for Gabrielle - exceptionally excellent service, even has... More

I stayed at old Montreal Embassy suites for the weekend and it was a great place. I was upgraded to a king suite which was a nice surprise! Breakfast was included with our stay as well as complimentary drinks! The hotel is located within walking distance to Old Port Montreal, metro is across from hotel in case you don't want... More

This hotel was an excellent base from which to explore Montreal. It's steps to old Montreal and close to the Metro. Sophie at the front desk was helpful and had us checked in within minutes. Concierge staff also, very helpful. The suites are large, more like 1 bedroom condos that a typical hotel room, lot's of space, a kitchen, and... More

One of the best in the Old Montreal area. Clean and efficient facilities with excellent staff, particularly in dining/bar area. Have stayed here for both business and pleasure. Kids loved the breakfast. Located next to underground pedway system and metro so very convenient for cold weather days.

Staff was amazing! Nathan in the bar was very helpful. Large, clean rooms (ours had a Jacuzzi AND a fireplace!). No problems at all and to top it off...BEST french fries in the world! Wishing I had a reason to return soon.

I have stayed at the Embassy Suites in Montreal several times and have never been disappointed. The rooms are spacious, clean and nicely furnished--perfect for families or business travelers. The hotel staff is very friendly, welcoming and courteous. The hotel is also located within walking distance of two metro stations and old Montreal.

We stayed here only 1 night and it was a great experience. At check-in, you get vouchers for free drinks that you can get during the Happy Hour (5pm-7pm) and vouchers for a free breakfast buffet (they also make omelets of your choice). The room was spacious and clean, beds very comfortable, we had a kitchen with a big fridge,... More

Great value hotel located close to the old part of Montreal and just across the road from the Metro. Not super close to shopping and new part of town, but a nice walk when the weather isn't too cold. Breakfast inclusions were decent, particularly eggs and made to order omlettes. Service was efficient in restaurant, and it can get busy.... More

My daughter and I stayed at the Embassy Suites for 6 nights last week. Everything about the hotel was wonderful - from our room being ready ahead of check-in time, to the helpfulness of the concierge finding a restaurant for 11 of us to eat at one night. The complimentary buffet breakfast each morning was wonderful (especially the cooked-to-order omelettes),... More

Staying in Quartier International

Neighborhood Profile
Quartier International
Designed to connect and beautify unused space, today the Quartier International is like a transversal piece of modern art. The distinctive design flair is most apparent at its focal point, the Palais des Congres, a convention center and retail space with a multi-colored glass exterior and an equally bold interior motif. Outdoors too, the Quartier is friendly towards public art exhibits along its stylish, plotted city squares, with extra-wide sidewalks meant to encourage long strolls and shaded benches available for absorbing the atmosphere. Fresh air and promenades characterize the area, from the foliage of Victoria Square to the fountain of Place Jean-Paul Riopelle, while the restaurants along Rue Saint-Antonie Ouest and Metro stops modeled in the Parisian style give off European glamour.
