It was difficult to find this accommodation from the address, but we found it eventually after asking around. The rooms are student quarters normally during the academic year but appear to be let out during vacations. The room we got was large with good-sized desks and working wi fi. Bathroom was clean though ageing, as were the furnishings and flooring.... More

Very old (and old fashioned) hotel. The rooms are enormous yet not often clean. My bathroom had yellow stains and the bath towels looked old and not properly washed. The wi-fi was instead working well in my room.

My family and I stayed for one night (we were supposed to stay for two), a Wednesday, because of the poorly insulated walls and the fact that there were drunk pothead girls who kept laughing like maniacs on our floor hallway (16th floor, highest level in the building). We were also able to hear some kind of sorority gathering with... More

Stayed for a night while visiting the Montreal Jazz Festival. It is near the action and easily accessible via public transportation. The room was comfortable and quiet. It is not a new hotel, so it's important to keep expectations reasonable. The front desk staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Recommended!

I stayed here while attending a conference and if I could have booked out after one night I would have. The rooms are gloomy and very tired, with basic facilities, although everything worked and the free wifi was a bonus. However, there are lots of parties of older school children that can get noisy at times. Hotel facilities were very... More

Welcome to McGill University's attempt at providing cheap basic hotel style accommodation in downtown Montreal. Pros: Location allows easy walking distance to main areas of downtown Montreal. Internet included in room rate. Fridge in room. Cons: Rooms very tired and dated. A/C system dated from antiquity. Furnishings circa 1970''s to 1980's tops!, lots of large groups where there at the... More

Decent place at a good price in Montreal's center. The room we had was fine; a bit worn and dated, but nothing to really complain about. The front desk staff seem OK, but our only interaction with them was to check in and out. In short - not a room that you'll remember, but a decent value for a night... More

I booked my room in this hotel to stay a week in May, 2013. The room was booked by my employer and I was advised to pay nothing since they have paid in advance. However, during check-in I was asked to pay the money for my stay. I told the help desk people that my employer has already been paid... More

...let's start with the check-in. Prompt, good. Next, the room smelled pretty bad, but we accepted it was a dorm. Beds comfy, tv reception snowy. Next morning, no hot water - at all. There was mould on the tiles, and the tub was pretty grungy. Went to the front desk where we were given a new room had to pack... More

I thought I would try this hotel after reading all the good reviews. Pros: -Good price -Location Cons: -Room was not very clean (The room I had was dirty with stains on the ground and the AC was very loud to the point I can't even sleep at night) -All of the rooms are not the same (Some rooms are...
